Rick Pitino lands star guards, Baylor and Alabama get a big man

The portal is OFFICIALLY closed, so there will be no new entries. However, there are still a good amount of players in the portal, and they've been falling off the board quickly. Rick Pitino and St. John's finally got the big transfer additions with Kadary Richmond and Deivon Smith, Norchad Omier and Cliff Omoruyi committed to Baylor and Alabama, respectively, along with many other notable high major names off the board. We also discuss the players who snuck in the portal right before the deadline, such as Samford star Achor Achor and Minnesota freshman Cam Christie.

Portal Bonanza by Hoop Scoop Media is a daily college basketball transfer portal podcast, taking you through everything you need to know during portal season.

Penny strikes twice, Minnesota's Hawkins enters portal

Even though it's only been a day since we last podcasted, the portal is slowing down for no one. Penny Hardaway added two intriguing players, while Muss continues to roll, adding two players of his own. Oregon, TCU, Texas A&M, among other schools, filled in a key role by adding a starter from the portal. On the entries side, it wasn't the most action packed day, but some high caliber players like Elijah Hawkins, Luke Goode and Kevin Patton hopped in. We ranked our top 10 transfers from Monday.

Portal Bonanza by Hoop Scoop Media is a daily college basketball transfer portal podcast, taking you through everything you need to know during portal season.
