We provide high resolution aerial data collection for land resource management professionals and research scientists. The initial work took place in Costa Rica, 2021. We worked in and visited several research facilities and reserves to meet biological and behavioral researchers to discuss how they go about their profession and how they make key decisions as it relates to their field of study. These interviews provided an important insight in building Portent Tide Aerial Imaging.

Dr. Gloriana Chaverri is an Associate Professor a the University of Costa Rica and a Research Associate at the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute. Gloriana completed her PhD in bat mating systems. Her lab (Chaverrilab) is based out of Golfito in south western Costa Rica and explores research related to ecology, behavior and sensory information - primarily related to bats.
