[…] I couldn't believe what I was hearing, I thought, I was doing somebody a favour by Blinden Ann, I thought I was doing him a favour, but not during attention to myself, perhaps from other men, but to my surprise, it was not the reaction I received, and a similar one next day at work when I wore that lipstick, yet life got in the way. Kids came along, and then I divorced my second one, and then I remembered the lipstick. In fact, surprisingly, I was doing COVID times when I was looking for a brand that wouldn't imprint into the face mask as all of them did, or sludge over your face, and a friend recommended a brand that would stay on after about five to ten minutes to set in, and I tried a few different shades, and then I very hesitantly picked up the red and put it on, and I raised my eyes into the reflection in the mirror, and I saw somebody else, I saw another woman, I didn't see the mother, being zoxed in life, the one who takes care of everyone.
