Potcast S2 E12 - Diamonds & Hash: Cannabis Concentrates with The Bubbleman & Diamonds by Douglas
On this episode of The Potcast with Ross Rebagliati, we’re talking to some folks who have made a name for themselves by separating the cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant and turning them into highly concentrated forms for consumption, specifically bubble hash, rosin and diamonds.
The legendary “Bubbleman” Marcus Richardson, creator of Bubble Bags and Hash Church, regales us with potent tales of his longtime love affair with bubble hash. And, we’ll talk to Ryan Douglas, the guy credited with introducing the Canadian recreational cannabis market to solventless diamonds with his brand, Diamonds by Douglas.
Grab your dab rig and turn up the volume… we’re about to concentrate hard on cannabis concentrates.

Meet Marcus "Bubbleman" Richardson, a pioneering entrepreneur and hemp activist since 1993. From securing the first legal hemp field in Manitoba in 1995 to advancing medical cannabis extraction methods, Marcus has left an indelible mark. As an educational speaker and advocate, he has shared insights at conferences worldwide. Marcus continues to explore the medicinal value of cannabis and, in 2014, initiated research in Jamaica to study the effects of different strains on human ailments. In 2017, he embarked on a global venture, branding his full melt hash and establishing processing facilities in three countries, showcasing his innovative dry sift and wet wash methods. Marcus also runs his bubbleman brand throughout Canada and the US in over 7 states.

About Ross Rebagliati
Ross Rebagliati is a Canadian snowboarder who won a gold medal in the men’s giant slalom event at the 1998 Winter Olympics. A positive cannabis test led the International Olympic Committee to strip him of his medal, but the decision was overruled in appeals court two days later because cannabis was not on the list of banned substances. For that reason, Ross’ medal is the only Olympic medal to have ever been returned.
Since then, Ross has become an outspoken cannabis advocate and entrepreneur. He was featured in the July 14, 2008 edition of Sports Illustrated, which profiled his life since his Olympic win.
