Poly Processing News You Can Use, June 2026

00:42 — WEFTEC 2026 Distributor Meeting Poly Processing will attend WEFTEC 2026 booth #3553 in New Orleans and host a municipal distributor breakfast meeting on Tuesday, September 29, at the Courtyard by Marriott New Orleans Warehouse Arts District Hotel. 01:22 — WEFTEC Booth Engagement Distributors are encouraged to contact their regional manager with attendee names and to bring engineers or end users to the booth to support stronger customer engagement. 01:58 — Poly Level Radar Kit Overview The new Poly Level Radar Kit packages five key components under one stock number and provides a turnkey radar-level reading solution for tanks. 03:26 — Radar Kit Website Resources The Poly Level Radar Level Package is available on polyprocessing.com under Fittings and Accessories, where users can access marketing collateral. 03:53 — Plug-and-Play Installation and Bluetooth The radar kit is configured for the tank before shipment, requires no tools or calibration, and includes Bluetooth access for viewing tank level and history. 04:28 — Product Sheets Sales Support Resource Poly Processing is introducing product sheets as customer-ready sales-support flyers that provide details on specific stock-numbered products. Product sheets will be available in the P3 download section and can be identified through stock item descriptions in Budget Pricer, Item Lookup, and PolyQuote. 06:49 — New Ladder Page on PolyProcessing.com A new ladder page has been added to the website under Accessories with FRP and steel ladder drawings, platform options, OSHA safety information, and fall-restraint guidance. 07:29 — Ladder Safety and Platform Design The team explained that platform ladders typically stop 30 to 36 inches below the manway so operators can inspect or access instrumentation without climbing on top of the tank. 8:32 — Evaluating Whether a Ladder Is Needed Customers and distributors are encouraged to consider whether regular access to the tank is actually required before adding a ladder to a tank design. 08:59 — Website Blogs and Data Center Market Page Poly Processing continues to expand website blogs, including a new Data Centers on our market we serve page covering chemical storage tank uses in cooling tower treatment, chilled water systems, and wastewater management. Recent blogs highlight SAFE-Tank advantages, concerns with metallic tank inserts, and the importance of planning building layouts before tank installation or replacement. 10:56 — Large Fittings and Venting Design Criteria The team discussed challenges with large fittings, especially in fiberglass replacement applications where six-, eight-, or ten-inch inlets can complicate venting requirements. 11:17 — FS-2650 High-Capacity Venting The FS-2650 lid provides 2,650 CFM of venting through an eight-inch vent built into the manway and is recommended whenever it can be included in a tank design. 12:49 — FS-2650 Installation Options and Buffer Tanks The FS-2650 vent can be installed as part of a lid or separately on a flat tank area, making it especially important for buffer tanks that must evacuate displaced air quickly. 14:01 — New 3D Automated Drawing Format Brandon Harper introduced new drafting automation that creates fabrication drawings with isometric views and an additional 270-degree backside view for clearer tank layouts. 15:12 — Initial Drawing Rollout The new automated drawing format is currently focused on vertical tanks and standard fittings, with IMFO tanks, SAFE-Tanks, and slope-bottom tanks planned for future rollout. 15:37 — Customer Approval and Lead Time Benefits The enhanced drawings are intended to improve customer clarity, reduce revisions, support faster approvals, and decrease drawing lead times as the automation program expands.

Poly Processing News You Can Use, March 2026

Welcome to this edition of News You Can Use from Poly Processing Company. Below you'll find a summary of each segment from our latest podcast, along with timestamps so you can jump directly to the topics most relevant to you. [0:34]  Overflow Fitting Placement on Castle Runway Tanks Bob explains how properly locating the overflow at the end of a castle runway lets you maximize the full shell-length capacity of the tank. Randy adds that a reverse siphon leg inside an overflow fitting can also raise the effective fluid level even higher. [1:14]  FRP Ladder Drawings & Upcoming Ladder Landing Page Updated FRP ladder drawings — including both ladder attachment bracket options — are now live on the Poly Processing website. A dedicated ladder landing page covering all ladder and fall-restraint information is expected within the next 30-45 days. [1:43]  BABA (Buy America Build America) Certification Letter A standardized BABA certification letter, formatted to EPA requirements, is now available in the P3 download library under Manufacturing. This letter can be included directly in submittal packets or quotes for Buy America Build America projects. [2:47]  Whitelist @polyprocessing.com The team asks all distributor partners to whitelist @polyprocessing.com with their IT departments to ensure that announcements, product updates, and emails from Poly Processing do not end up in spam filters. [3:28]  Recommended PVC & CPVC Cement, Cleaner, and PTFE Tape Poly Processing recommends Weld-On 724 cement, Weld-On C65 cleaner, and Blue Monster PTFE tape for all PVC and CPVC applications. [4:09]  Field Installation Review Service (Dan Comp) Orders of $150,000 or more automatically trigger an installation review call from Dan Comp to the job-site installer. Distributors can also manually flag any order for this service — or opt out of the automatic trigger — by notifying their inside salesperson or regional manager. [4:56]  NSF/ANSI CAN 61 Certification for Crosslink Polyethylene Potable Water Tanks Poly Processing has achieved NSF/ANSI CAN Standard 61 certification for potable water storage on three tank lines: PolyCL XLPE (natural), PolyCL Black, and PolyCL White. The official NSF letter is available on P3, and certified tanks ship with an NSF sticker and documentation. [6:47]  New 407 SAFE-Tank (Winchester, VA) The new 407 SAFE-Tank mirrors the popular 405 but features a four-flat dome configuration — one flat with a 7-inch buttress cap and three additional flats at 90°, 180°, and 270° — providing more options for pumps and fittings without custom verticals. It includes one pocket-fitting flat at the bottom sidewall, just like the 405. [8:02]  Using SAFE-Tank Internal Tanks as Standalone Primary Tanks & The Chop Top System; The internal tank from any SAFE-Tank set can be ordered separately as a primary tank, and the budget pricer on P3 lists all available internal tank options with actual capacities. The Chop Top option — cutting the internal tank to serve as a fitted lid for the outer tank — offers a cost-effective alternative to expensive fabricated lids. [9:21]  Desired Ship Date — Please Include on Purchase Orders Poly Processing schedulers are now tracking desired ship dates as a key input for weekly production planning. Distributors are encouraged to include a realistic desired ship date on every purchase order to help with forecasting and to improve on-time delivery. [10:24]  2026 Trade Show Calendar on the Poly Processing Website We've posted a full calendar of trade shows Poly Processing is attending in 2026 under About Poly Processing on our website; it currently lists 27 upcoming events. Please share any local trade shows not yet listed so we can add them with a link. [11:23]  Featured Distributor Spotlight: Sean Coholan of Goble Sampson Sean Coholan of Goble Sampson — covering Northern California and Northern Nevada — shares the strategies behind his consistent seven-figure annual sales with Poly Processing.
