The wilderness is not the end of the story. In the final episode of Season 5, Brad and Casey explore Christian hope as the settled confidence that God will do what he has promised, even before we can see the evidence. They reflect on integrating what the wilderness has formed in us and recovering celebration as a spiritual practice, learning to hold suffering and joy together as people who believe in resurrection.

Community in the Wilderness
We weren't made to walk through the wilderness alone, but difficult seasons can make us want to withdraw from the very people we need. In this episode, Brad and Casey explore what healthy community looks like in seasons of suffering, including the importance of spiritual friendship, vulnerability, listening, and becoming a safe presence for others. Sometimes the most faithful thing we can offer someone isn't an answer, but our presence.

Waiting and Hiddenness
What is God doing when nothing seems to be happening? Brad and Casey explore the difficult wilderness experiences of waiting and obscurity, where God's work can feel painfully slow and our lives can feel hidden or overlooked. They discuss learning to become present to where we actually are, remembering God's past faithfulness, and trusting that God may be doing something in us before he does something through us.
