   “The Hope That Transcends Death”

Oct. 22, 2026 Daily Devotional: “The Hope That Transcends Death” John 11:25–26 Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?'" When Jesus spoke these iconic words to Martha, she was standing in the deep darkness of grief. Her brotherLazarus had been dead for four days, and her heart was heavy with the painful thought of what could have been: "Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died."  In response to her heartbreak, Jesus did notmerely offer a comforting cliché or point her toward a distant, future expectation. Instead, He shifted her focus directly to Himself. He didn't say, "I will perform a resurrection," but rather, "I am the resurrection and the life." Jesus radically changes our understanding of life and death. For those who place their trust in Him. Physical death is not the final chapter, because Jesus conquered the grave, death is transformed from an overwhelming end into a doorway into eternal presence with Him.Spiritual life begins right now, eternal life isn't just afuture destination; it is a present reality. Believing in Jesus imparts a rich, unending life that circumstances—and even death itself—cannot diminish. At the very end of His statement, Jesus turns to Martha with a deeply personal question: "Do you believe this?" That question echoes through the centuries to each of us today. It asks us to look beyond our immediate sorrow, unanswered questions, or fear of the unknown, and anchor our faith in the One who holds ultimate authority over life and death. He shows that spiritual truth requires a personal response. Belief isn't passive agreement with an idea; it's a direct, conscious choice to place trust in Him. John 11:25–26 offers powerful, practical lessons for daily life and faith. Physical death brings genuine pain, but it is not the final chapter. For those facing loss orcontemplating mortality, these verses offer profound comfort by assuring us that physical death is only a temporary transition, not an ultimate end. Knowing that spiritual life is unbroken by physical death changes howwe experience hardships, fear, and daily struggles. It frees us from the paralyzing fear of death and allows us to live with purpose, courage, and long-term hope. Take a moment today to reflect on Jesus' question: "Do you believe this?" Write down any fears or areas of grief you are holding onto, and surrender them to Him inprayer, trusting that He holds both your present and your eternity.

   “The Gift of Holy Memory”

Oct. 21, 2026 Daily Devotional: “The Gift of Holy Memory” Psalm 105:5 "Remember the wonders He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He pronounced..." In the rush of daily life, it is remarkably easy for our minds to focus on what hasn't happened yet—theunanswered prayers, the pending decisions, or the quiet anxieties about tomorrow. But Psalm 105 calls us to stop, take a breath, and turn our attention in a different direction: backward, toward God’s track record. The psalmist gives a simple yet profound instruction: Remember. Remembering in Scripture isn't just passiverecall or feeling nostalgic about the "good old days." It is an active, intentional act of the heart. It means intentionally bringing to mind the specific moments where God showed up—the unexpected provisions, the quiet strength that got you through a hard season, the prayers answered in ways you didn't foresee, and the invisible ways He guided your steps when you couldn'tsee the path ahead. When we actively recall His past faithfulness, two things happen: Gratitude is being replaced by exhaustion and faith for today is being renewed. Looking back reminds us that we haven't carried our lives entirely on our own strength. God has been working behind the scenes all along. The God who was faithful yesterday is the same God holding today and directing tomorrow. His character doesn't change. Every miracle, every quiet mercy, and every moment of guidance in your past is proof of His enduring care for you. Today, take a few moments to step away from the noise and practice the holy discipline of remembering. At its core, this verse is an invitation to active remembrance as a foundation for faith, gratitude, andtrust. Psalm 105 as a whole is a song of thanksgiving recounting God's covenant with Abraham and His faithfulness through generations. Verse 5 acts as a pivotal reminder: What God has done in the past is proof of what He is capable of doing in the present. By focusing on God's proven track record, believers find strength, perspective, and comfort during times of uncertainty.Today, pause and reflect; What is one specific moment in your past—big or small—where you clearly saw God’s care, timing, or guidance in your life?

   “Unseen, But Not Unnoticed Scripture”

Oct. 20, 2026 Daily Devotional: “Unseen, But Not Unnoticed Scripture” Hebrews 6:10 "God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them."  Have you ever poured your heart into serving others, only to feel invisible? It is easy to get discouraged when the effort you put into caring for family, serving at church, helping a friend, or working quietly behind the scenes goes unacknowledged. We live in a world that thrives on public recognition, likes, and applause. Whenour quiet sacrifices fail to bring a "thank you," a subtle doubt can creep in: Does any of this really matter. Hebrews 6:10 gives us a powerful reassurance: God sees, and God remembers. The writer starts with afoundational truth about God's character: "God is not unjust." Because He is perfectly just, He cannot overlook the labor born out of your faith. Every quiet prayer, every act of patience, every hidden kindness, andevery moment you chose to love someone when it was difficult is recorded in His memory. Notice, too, why your service matters so much to Him. The passage says the love you show His people isactually love "shown him." When you serve, encourage, or comfort others, God receives it as a personal act of devotion to Himself. Your love for God is expressed directly through your love for His children. Finally, theverse highlights consistency: "as you have helped his people and continue to help them." Faithfulness isn't about a single grand gesture; it is found in the steady, day-in-and-day-out willingness to show up and love others. At its core, this verse is a powerful message of encouragement, validation, and assurance. It serves as areminder that no quiet sacrifice, unseen service, or act of kindness done out of love for God goes unnoticed by Him. Whether you are caring for family, serving quietly in your community, supporting others through work, or enduring difficult seasons without recognition, this verse assures you that your effort is never in vain. It invites us to serve out of love for God rather thanseeking approval from people. When fatigue sets in, Hebrews 6:10 provides gentle reassurance that God holds every act of service in remembrance. If you are feeling weary or overlooked today, take heart. You may not receive an award, a shout out, or even a simple thankyou from people, but the Creator of the universe notices every detail. Yourwork in the Lord is never in vain. Shift your audience the next time you feelunappreciated for something you’ve done, reframe your perspective. Remindyourself, "I did this for the Lord, and He saw it." Encourage asilent servant today, think of someone in your life who quietly serves behindthe scenes without getting credit. Send them a text or note of gratitude todayto mirror God’s heart of remembrance.
