Thou God seest me

God sees more than our outward appearance—He sees our hearts. The Bible says He sees every life, every heart, and every secret. Yet the God who sees us is also the God who lovingly calls us to Himself through His son the Lord Jesus Christ. What does that mean for you? Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation Genesis 16:13 “13 And she called the name of Jehovah who spoke to her, Thou art the God who reveals himself” Genesis 3:8-10 “8 And they heard the voice of Jehovah Elohim, walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah Elohim, in the midst of the trees of the garden. 9 And Jehovah Elohim called to Man, and said to him, Where art thou?10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I feared, because I am naked; and I hid myself.” Hebrews 4:13 “13 And there is not a creature unapparent before him; but all things [are] naked and laid bare to his eyes, with whom we have to do.” Luke 15:20-23 “20 And he rose up and went to his own father. But while he was yet a long way off, his father saw him, and was moved with compassion, and ran, and fell upon his neck, and covered him with kisses.21 And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee; I am no longer worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the father said to his bondmen, Bring out the best robe and clothe him in [it], and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet;23 and bring the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry:” The post Thou God seest me appeared first on Preachers Corner.

Peace & Rest for the Soul

Where can true peace be found in a troubled world? Discover God’s invitation to every weary heart through Jesus Christ. This message explores the peace that flows from knowing Him, the rest He promises to all who come to Him, and the reconciliation made possible through the blood of His cross. Come and be encouraged by God’s Word and find the peace and rest your soul longs for. Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation  Isaiah 48:18-19 “18 Oh that thou hadst hearkened to my commandments! Then would thy peace have been as a river, and thy righteousness as the waves of the sea;19 and thy seed would have been as the sand, and the offspring of thy bowels like the gravel thereof: their name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.” Isaiah 48:22 “22 There is no peace, saith Jehovah, unto the wicked.” Matthew 11:27-30 “27 All things have been delivered to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son but the Father, nor does any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son may be pleased to reveal [him].28 Come to me, all ye who labour and are burdened, and *I* will give you rest.29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am meek and lowly in heart; and ye shall find rest to your souls;30 for my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Colossians 1:18-22 “18 And *he* is the head of the body, the assembly; who is [the] beginning, firstborn from among the dead, that *he* might have the first place in all things:19 for in him all the fulness [of the Godhead] was pleased to dwell, 20 and by him to reconcile all things to itself, having made peace by the blood of his cross—by him, whether the things on the earth or the things in the heavens.21 And you, who once were alienated and enemies in mind by wicked works, yet now has it reconciled22 in the body of his flesh through death; to present you holy and unblamable and irreproachable before it,”     The post Peace & Rest for the Soul appeared first on Preachers Corner.

Who do you belong to?

In a world searching for identity, acceptance, and purpose, many people feel abandoned, overlooked, or uncertain about where they truly belong. The Bible tells the story of a man who had been left to die in the wilderness. When he was found, the first question he was asked was, “To whom belongest thou?” That same question confronts each of us today. Join us as we discover what God’s Word says about who we are, why Jesus Christ gave His life for us, and how anyone can find lasting hope, forgiveness, and the security of belonging to the One who will never leave or forsake those who come to Him. Bible Scriptures: Darby Translation  1 Samuel 30:11-13 “11 And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he ate; and they gave him water to drink,12 and gave him a piece of fig-cake and two raisin-cakes, and he ate, and his spirit came again to him; for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, for three days and three nights. 13 And David said to him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant of an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick.” 1 Corinthians 6:20 “20 for ye have been bought with a price: glorify now then God in your body.” The post Who do you belong to? appeared first on Preachers Corner.
