[…] It is the common assumption of modern exegetes interpreters of scripture using historical critical method to have concluded that if you want to know who Jesus is you have to know him through the parables because the parables are the chief thing that Jesus himself taught and used so that If you were going to say something about who the real Jesus is, which is what these historical critical people are trying to say, if you want to know the historical Jesus, who he really is, and what his true essence is, then you would say he was a storyteller, and he was a storyteller of a certain kind, which is parable storytelling, and that's who Jesus truly was.
