[…] Japan is very dependent on imports and exports to feed its economy, to feed its people basically. And the third issue is that Japan has a lot of historical enemies in East Asia. So historically, Japan has had views with the Korean Peninsula, with China, with Southeast Asia. So the geographical outlook is not great for Japan. And I think that over the next 10 years will be critical for Japan. Because either Japan solves its demographic crisis right now over these next 10 years, basically its aging crisis, if it does not solve the problem in the next 10 years, I think Japan will cease to exist as a nation state in 50 years time.
