💬 Episode Description: In this soul-stirring episode, Ashley Nicole Stone sits down with singer-songwriter Tayloir Pace the day before the first Pretty In Praise in-person event—a moment that neither of them knew would mark the beginning of something divinely orchestrated. Embracing Your Personal Connection with God Through Gratitude

Gratitude isn’t just a feeling—it’s a spiritual practice that strengthens our connection with God, aligns our hearts with His will, and transforms the way we experience life’s highs and lows. In this episode of Pretty in Praise, we’ll explore how gratitude has shaped my personal journey, deepened my faith, and completely changed the way I approach prayer. When I first began my walk with God, I didn’t understand the power of gratitude in prayer. My prayers were often cries for help—pleas for guidance, deliverance, and breakthrough. But as I grew in my faith, I realized that gratitude wasn’t just a response to blessings; it was an invitation to experience God’s presence in every moment, even in the waiting, even in the pain. In this episode, I’ll share how shifting my prayers from desperation to thanksgiving changed everything. I’ll talk about how gratitude strengthens faith during spiritual warfare, silences the lies of the enemy, and draws us closer to the heart of God. We’ll dive into scripture, uncover the role gratitude plays in spiritual breakthrough, and discuss practical ways to incorporate it into our daily prayer life. If you’ve ever struggled with feeling distant from God, if you’ve wrestled with doubt, or if you’re in a season where it’s hard to see His goodness—this episode is for you. Let’s learn together how gratitude can be the key to unlocking a deeper, more intimate relationship with our Creator. Beth’s love for the prophetic and the ensuing journey started several years ago as she began to hear and see the Lord speaking in and through everyday life.  She began studying and learning the scriptures in a new way as God revealed revelation from His Word and through His gift of faith.  She began stewarding her dreams and God began to reveal words of knowledge, prophecy and insight, as well as calling her to intercession as He issued warnings for His bride, the Church. As Beth continues to grow in hearing God’s voice, she loves to share her personal experiences, testimonies and strategies for walking in the prophetic and freedom. Beth finds joy in walking others through the freedom journey she herself has experienced, realizing the close connection between physical healing, inner healing and deliverance. Beth has recently authored a book called Kingdom Authority.  This book is her journey of learning that God can deliver and heal us as we understand our identity, position, purpose and authority.  This book has practical tools, testimonies, prayers and decrees that work. Beth Ann has a passion for all things Kingdom and recently started a business called The Kingdom Armor Company.  She hopes to provide many tools, products and gifts that can encourage others and bring God’s Kingdom to earth. Beth Ann grew up in the Dallas - Ft. Worth area where she later met her husband, and they have been married since 2002.  They have two sons who love Jesus and desire to live out their Kingdom purposes as well.  Beth has a BA in Social Work/ Child Psychology, as well as a Graduate Masters in Education. THE KINGDOM ARMOR COMPANY ANOINTING OIL The Bible associates anointing oil with the power of the Holy Spirit, and it is His power that can break bondage, heal, sanctify, protect, and even allow the operating of new positions of favor.  Even beyond the Bible there are many testimonies of God working in people’s lives through the power of anointing oil.  When we use the oil as a prophetic act and symbolic representation of the Holy Spirit coming upon us, it empowers our faith and allows the Holy Spirit to come and bless us beyond anything we could imagine. A California native, who has joyfully lived in various states, now residing in magnificent Texas. She earned her APA-accredited Doctoral and Master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA. She is the CEO of Crawford Clinics, where she, and her specialized team, provide innovative psychotherapy services and Leadership Coaching, tailored to overcome self-sabotage, optimal performance, and enrich the enjoyment of life and leadership. As a lifelong learner and lover of people, she enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor at The King’s University. As a conference speaker, she delights in sharing her insight and expertise covering a range of topics speaking to business leaders, church audiences, for youth and women’s events both in the U.S. and internationally including speaking for conferences in Singapore, Indonesia, India, Brazil, and Bangladesh! Dr. Crawford is passionate to partner with healthy organizations and initiatives to end human trafficking. She is currently working on a massive book project that will be pitched as a feature film; an allegory fiction adventure that explores the nuances of the internal world through the intrigue of espionage and romance. Specialties: As a clinical psychologist, with over 15-years of combined training and experience. Through constantly partnering with The Holy Spirit, innovating Restoring-Self-Cohesion (RSC), a hybrid approach that conceptualizes from a psychodynamic orientation that holistically blends inner healing models, wellness approaches, and positive psychology to cultivate optimal performance tailored for the individual’s needs. It is my joy to share the RSC model with leaders and influencers who can remove blind spots, leading from self-awareness, to foster an emotionally healthy culture for those they lead. Population: Leaders and influencers wanting to resolve the unconscious blocks below self-sabotage, insecurity, glass ceilings, burnout, emotional outbursts, and counterproductive relationship dynamics that keep you from thriving personally, relationally, spiritually, and vocationally. Leaders and influencers don’t have to have a title. A leader is anyone who recognizes that your life is bigger than just you. Whether it’s your family, friends, a corporation or a non-profit, the people around you ARE impacted by the health or lack of health of your soul. When leaders and influencers are unhealthy the negative ripple effect is widespread and demoralizing for those in your wake. While positive reinforcement in leadership equips, calls up, and helps platform others. Instead of being easily threatened and possessive of our position and title, when we cultivate and empower the right people around us, our leadership goes from temporal to enduring legacy. How exciting to consider influence from good to great so the positive ripple effect of being an empowering leader can bring out the best in others… the impact could be global… you could be a forerunner for a positive global movement through your sphere of influence! Education: B.A. in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, graduating with Psy Chi honors. M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Regent University. Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Regent University. Beneath the Apple Tree: My Journey to Sobriety and Freedom from Temptation

Podcast Description: In this episode of the Pretty In Praise Podcast, we explore the challenges of addiction, inspired by my poem "The Apple Tree"—a reflection on the subtle temptations that pull us away from our purpose. Addiction isn’t a straight path, and sobriety is often full of ups and downs. But through faith, God delivered me from that struggle. Join me as I share my personal journey through addiction and sobriety, and how God’s grace ultimately led me to freedom. We talk about the lessons learned along the way and the importance of surrendering to God’s will. Whether you’re in recovery, struggling, or simply looking for hope, this episode is a reminder that God’s grace is bigger than your struggle. There is hope, and there is freedom. If you haven’t given your life to Christ and feel the nudge, I want to invite you to pray this with me: Sinner’s Prayer: "Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Amen." If you prayed this prayer, welcome to God’s family! Reach out, and let’s walk this journey together. 💖👑 To learn more about Pretty In Praise and our mission, visit: https://prettyinpraise.com/ Poem:  The Apple Tree The apple tree. The apple tree has fruit That is ripe and yours for the taking. Red in its color Having you contemplating. Tempting as it hangs.. a fruit bearing seeds. Innocent to take a bite. For just a moment of relief. This is the vision I had… Given in a dream. The day after I relapsed Just drinking one drink. As the devil dances in my head.. it’s just one.. what will it do? Just take a sip he said You have nothing to lose… As I battle back n forth Feeling somewhat neglected My ego came forth Making a choice…selected. I took a quick sip.. and two more followed. It went down real quick. As it burned when I swallowed. I was doing a normal thing. This was all just fine. A night out doing wife and husband things. As we enjoyed a place to dine. A drink made.. compliments of the bar A woman caved When the Apple wasn’t far. How often we forget.. the devil and his schemes. This isn’t to make you upset That you were human.. because he redeems. You will not fall To the cycle of shame were the devil is waiting. Your God knows you by name Your mistakes he is anticipating. Beautiful woman… you don’t have to eat.. the apple is just a metaphor. A reminder of deceit. Yes there is a tree.. bearing much fruit.. waiting for you to eat.. while heavily in pursuit.. One that gives life while the other seeks death. Poisonous  but, ripe.. clinging to fear and regret. It comes along with the hardest of temptations. But in Christ you are made strong as it says in Gelations. You no longer live.. Christ is in you… by the flesh you will give a life made new. Because faith is way bigger than the choices that you choose. When you remember this.. the devil will always lose. There is an Apple tree… and it’s yours for the taking. Ripe and ready waiting… forsaking.. Which will you choose… faith in thde life? Or a moment consumed By just… one… bite

Resurrecting from the Ashes: Beauty Behind Chaos to Pretty In Praise

Step ONE: Surrender Just Give Me The Hem I’ve been bleeding out for years while no one knew. I have been holding back the tears As the pain grew. I have been fighting back the thoughts That kept me up. Some days it was a lot; I had enough. I called out for some relief, And I heard a voice. It was very clear to see I had a choice. Calling me from the shadows, It was time. The seed in me was shallow, But it had a vine. I believed in something more But had no clue That one day on the floor I’d have breakthrough. For years the door was shut; I was trapped. I didn’t know this kind of love— Only attacks. Seeking for an answer, Anything to heal, Anything to numb, Anything to not feel. Self-helping in every way While I searched for truth Until I heard Jesus say, "All I need is YOU." I didn’t need to be clean Or earn my place. He said, "Stand up to be seen." He gave me Grace. All it took was a moment Of desperation. It was then I had to own it— The separation. I fought it my whole life, The path to Him, Thinking I wasn’t worthy or right, Full of sin. Generations of chains I had to break. Jesus knew my name For Heaven’s sake! I was the woman in the Bible, Full of blood— Generations of survival, Shunned and shoved. A solution to the suffering God would send, If you just had faith enough to touch the hem. The enemy is lurking, Full of deceit, Keeping you searching So you can’t see. God requires faith, The size of a seed. Turn to Him today— For rest and relief. In this first episode, I share a part of my personal journey from trauma to triumph, a story of resilience, faith, and divine healing that came one day on the bathroom floor. This episode is a testimony of my first encounter with God and the years to come that birthed Pretty In Praise. My past is not my story, my story started with HIM. But, it is clear, I had to go back to the moments when we became separated. It was not easy to navigate this story. While I will overthink my delivery with my ums and what I would say differently, I am committed to the process of radical authenticity and give myself Grace on this first episode. Being vulnerable is hard but being victorious is worth it!! This is a story of resurrection from the ashes, turning chaos into beauty, and transforming pain into praise. Whether you’re on your own healing journey or seeking inspiration, this episode will set the stage for the powerful conversations and transformations to come. This is just the beginning of what God has shown. We are now a registered 501(c)(3). I hope to bring the word of God to many and also create a safe space for women to heal, hear stories, ask questions, and find their path to a loving God who is awaiting them.
