And as the gasoline lit, he watched the fire run up the trail, around the porch, and once it hit the inside of the cabin, the whole cabin went whoosh and imploded. He remembered how bright the light was from the fire inside the cabin. He then put the dog in the truck and began driving towards Benicia. He wasn't sure how he was able to remember how to get home, but he must have just remembered the way from all the times they drove up to the cabin. Nolan said he was on restrictions at this time and was not allowed to have his phone so once at home he immediately found it either on his dad's dresser or the safe. […]
