[…] Families over usually around 18 months, they pay back with very little interest the cost of that land. Now they have land, again, desirable land as an asset. And they use that land and their repayment history as collateral and proof of credit to then go to other financing institutions that New Story connects them with. And then the housing, which is the more expensive part of that process, can be funded by external sources. It doesn't need to be funded through New Story philanthropy. And so, you know, for every dollar, we just get so much more impact. by really leaning into what's available in the broader capital markets and supporting families at the beginning with having the collateral and, again, that credit history that they didn't have before.
