About Prison Audio

Welcome to Prison Audio: Phone Calls From Prison, a podcast that brings you real, unfiltered stories from those living behind prison walls. Through a series of 20-minute phone calls, incarcerated individuals open up to me about their childhoods, the events that led to their convictions, and what daily life is really like inside the system. I’m Mike, the host and producer of Prison Audio: Voices From Behind Bars. On this podcast, I don’t try to prove anyone’s guilt or innocence. I’m not here to make a case either way — I’m here to share the stories of people who are incarcerated, in their own words.
