Age Of Vedas, Manusmriti, Ramayana And Mahabharata + Exposing Plot To Limit Age Of Indian Culture
<p>There are so many conflicting statements from all the Scholars from the East and the West about the time when Vedas were given, Manusmriti written, and events in Ramayana and Mahabharata happened. That's why we need to have a bird's eye view of everything and understand it from that perspective. </p> <p>The period covered by Creation is called Brahmadina (God's day), while the period covered by Dissolution is called Braahmaratri (God's night): Brahmadina (God's day) is divided into 1,000 Chaturyugis, each of which is again divided into 4 Yugas or ages, these are:- </p> <p>1. Sat Yuga or Golden age = 1,728,000 years. </p> <p>2. Dwaapur Yuga or Silver age = 1,296,000 years </p> <p>3. Treta Yuga or Bronze age = 864,000 years </p> <p>4. Kaliyuga or Iron age = 432,000 years </p> <p>The farthest time we can go to know the age of Mahabharata is by looking at the Aihole Inscription which is also known as Aihole Prashasti. Ramayana means Ram+Ayan (राम+अयन = राम का मार्ग) </p> <p>Major difference between Mahabharata and Ramayana is Culture. As Karma was the soul of the Mahabharata, Dharma was the soul of Ramayana. Ramayana illustrates the unfeigned love from pure heart between brothers and victory of Good over Evil. And the whole base cause of Mahabharata is sibling rivalry and the war as the effect. </p> <p>There are many mentions of time of Ramayana and birth of Shri Ram in treta yuga i.e., around 900k years back in Puranas, Buddhist and Jain literature as well but those are engrossed in Avtarvaad that is not Vedic from any angle. With the mentioning of Manusmriti in Ramayana it becomes evident that Manusmriti is older than Ramayana. </p> <p>Western scholars have denied to acknowledge that Vedas are revealed by God and stress that it is manufactured by seers. The top manufacturer of those conjectures was none other than Max Mueller who arbitrarily put the age as 1200 to 1000 BC for Vedas. Also, Western philosophy, ideology, science, and thinking range near the Birth and Death of Jesus, and they being proved wrong by some other culture that is highly advanced than them is mostly unacceptable to them, and thats why they wanted to limit the whole Indian culture and history within 5000 years. </p> <p>So, we have to take it with a pinch of salt and just not blindly jump in the bandwagon but do our own research and start understanding it with wider perspective as Vedas are not just line of texts but whole humanity has its base on that. <p>The way to live your life is the prerogative of the person. How much he is able to understand the world. What is the main goal of his? Do we want to enjoy life to the fullest? Yes, indeed. Life is given to enjoy and be happy every second of your life. But we don't want to become a slave to this world and get involved in excessive desires and enjoy it. <br> <br> You have two options - Enjoy all the things in the world, live an extravagant life, devour the best food, have a comfortable stay, watch Netflix, travel the world, and all. But this is only giving you the bodily and somewhat of satisfaction to the mind and the soul. But is it the goal of your life? <br> <br> To Only give comfort to your body and no elevation of your mind and soul to the higher planes so that you are face to face with the ultimate reality of your existence and start wondering why you were stuck in the worldly desire and didn't start the mystical path long back!! <br> <br> The main goal is subtler and far away which requires preparation, focus, desire, involvement, and a lot of other ingredients for the recipe of Salvation to work. When you start practicing slowly, initially it must be hard and challenging and you don't see any outcome in the first few days, months, or even years but gradually you must be able to see the difference. <br> <br> Similar is what happens when you follow the Vedas.</p>

The Story Of Religion - What It Was & What It Became?
<p>Let's delve into the story of Religion. How it was different earlier and how it has changed now. There are a lot of solutions provided to understand God but fundamentally it is divided into three - The first one is Philosophical. Which uses the power of intellect to reason, enquire, question, and find solutions to the darkness and the ultimate truth and reality. Second one is the Religion itself which utilizes the aspect of your feelings, emotions, intellectual synthesis and channel it in the proper direction to find the solutions. Prayers, good conduct, righteousness, etc., form the components of religion. Third one is the Mystical which utilizes transcendental means. But the intellectual plane has a limit so do the initial steps of religion. There is no denying that the Vedas are the oldest scriptures. The art of worship prescribed in it clearly predates what Later stages of Hinduism has become, it predates Zoroastrianism which is considered at around 4000 years, it predates Buddhism which is around 2500 year old, Christianity which is 2000 year old and Islam which is pretty young at 1500 year and Sikhism which is around 500 year old.
