In this season finale, I’m recording from a new car for the first time — because Subi, my 2011 Subaru, my ride or die for 7 years and 90,000 miles, has finally retired. I give her the eulogy she deserves. I also share the story of the random gift that started everything — a black cat coffee mug from a coworker that somehow became the symbol of everything I wanted next. And I close out Season 1 with a thank you to everyone who showed up every Friday for this ridiculous, wonderful, probably shouldn’t exist podcast.
