Gino and Maqui talk about how they got started in production with Gino being behind the cameras and Maqui being in front of it. Gino discusses what he enjoys about the process in prod work and talks about his short films Basaan and Waivers from a few years back. Maqui, being a performer and actress in Manila, had to adapt to her new surroundings in the US where she now also works behind the cameras. They both also discuss the major differences in working in production in the US compared to the Philippines. </p>

<p>On our 13th episode, we have Harold Soon, our go-to director in most, if not all, of our beauty and lifestyle-related commercials. Harold talks about being a late bloomer in the production world, having discovered it only in his senior year in college. The goal-oriented director also talks about rising up the ranks, from apprenticing for Marie Jamora to being part of the art department to eventually being an assistant director and finally a director. We also get into the sacrifices and balances he makes working in production as a Chinoy. Lastly, Harold shares his experiences in commercial directing and gives some tips on how to pitch to potential clients. </p>
