<p>In deze aflevering zijn we op bezoek bij Patron Cuisinier Richard van Oostenbrugge van restaurant 212 te Amsterdam. Het is een onderdeel van de Wine Professional Week 2021 waarbij Jan van Lissum en Roderick Ros, op afstand, premium wijnen proeven bij de gerechten van 212. De wijnen komen uit diverse Wine Professional boxen die importeurs hebben ingestuurd. U gaat dan ook luisteren, als een klein kijkje in de keuken, naar een gedeelte van de gesprekken over de wijnen en gerechten. Deze podcast is opgenomen een week voordat 212 zijn tweede Michelinster kreeg toegekend. De Proefschrift Restaurant Awards 2021
In deze podcast worden de winnaars van de Proefschrift Restaurant Awards 2021 bekend gemaakt en uitgelegd waarom deze personen de awards hebben verdiend. De awards zijn: Ondernemer van het Jaar Wijnkaart van het Jaar Wijnspijsspecialist van het Jaar Gastheer & vrouw van het Jaar Sommelier van het Jaar M &V Chef van het Jaar Het aantal Restaurant Awards is kleiner dan bij voorgaande edities. Door toedoen van de pandemiemaatregelen kregen de meeste restaurants het afgelopen jaar niet of nauwelijks gelegenheid zich van hun allerbeste kant te laten zien. Daarnaast was het voor Proefschrift onmogelijk om de traditionele showcases voor jonge talenten te organiseren. Diezelfde restaurants hebben wel alles op alles moeten zetten om er het beste van te maken en vaak om überhaupt te overleven in deze crisis. Daarom heeft Proefschrift toch besloten een aantal professionals en restaurants in het zonnetje te zetten middels een Award, acht in totaal.
