(Blog): Trusting the Unknown
In this episode of Profound Journey, I reflect on life with only €237 in my pocket, the strange calm that still persists, and what three months of Muay Thai training taught me about self-trust, detachment, and love.
This one is about surrendering, questioning the role of money for a happy life, and becoming more okay with simply being.

(Blog): Why Don’t You Really Live Like You Know It’s Temporary?
This week’s episode stems from a question that’s been echoing in my mind for a while now—a question that reveals the gap between how I think about existence and how I’m actually living it, especially in the small things: how I treat myself, the worries I hold onto, the subtle ways I forget what truly matters.
I will share the latest insights that feel like keys to a more joyful and fulfilling life—seeds gathered from deep conversations with newfound friends, personal reflections, and yes, even a thought-provoking exchange I had with ChatGPT about all of this.
I invite you to listen to this mix of clarity, chaos, and curiosity. Enjoy. 😊

(Blog): Now is All You Have
What do you do in a serious situation when you know you're about to enter a psychedelic journey after ingesting a tab of LSD?
That's where I found myself when the ground started shaking in Northern Thailand due to a 7.7 magnitude earthquake that originated in Myanmar.
In this episode, I want to share with you the insights I gained from that experience and offer a brief overview and personal take on ceremonial mind-altering facilitations.

(Blog): The Game of Life
In this solo episode, I unpack the emotional layers behind our routines, desires, and internal resistance. I explore why we chase what we do, how failing to meet our own standards can be a powerful teacher, what it really means to live with awareness, and how to trust the slow process of becoming.

(Blog): When Doubt Creeps In
In this episode, I reflect on the deeper purpose behind Profound Journey and whether I’m truly on the right path—or simply convincing myself I am. I open up about the paradox of freedom, the weight of having too many choices, and the tension between living in the moment versus creating with intention.
What starts as questioning the structure and future of this project turns into something more raw: an exploration of doubt, desire, comparison, and the urge to walk away from it all. I also share a serendipitous moment—a message that reminded me why this work might matter, even when I can't see the impact.
If you're navigating your own questions about purpose, contribution, or how to balance doing with simply being, this one might resonate.

(Blog): The Cost of Existential Curiosity
In this episode, I dive deep into a struggle I’ve faced for years—sleep, self-sabotage, and the hidden effects of existential curiosity. I explore how my mind resists rest, not just because of poor habits, but because of something deeper: unfinished tasks, subconscious fears, and the need for control.
I reflect on how my younger self used to be consumed by the fear of non-existence, how I’ve made peace with it over time, and why a subtle remnant of that fear still shows up in unexpected ways—like my inability to maintain a consistent sleep schedule.
Beyond the philosophy, I break down why simply forcing myself into a routine hasn’t worked, and what I’ve realized instead.
If you’ve ever found yourself self-sabotaging, procrastinating, or feeling stuck in cycles that seem impossible to break, this episode might give you something to think about.

(Blog): Intentional Surrender - How to Get What You Want in Ways You Didn't Expect
This episode of Profound Journey dives into the concept of Intentional Surrender—the delicate balance between setting clear intentions and letting go of rigid control. We reflect on how life often unfolds in unexpected yet profoundly aligned ways when we stop forcing outcomes and trust the flow.
Through Vincents personal stories of missed plans that led to better opportunities—like finding a van in an unexpected way, stumbling upon a tiny house, or receiving help at just the right moment—he illustrates how surrendering to life’s rhythm can lead to experiences beyond what we could plan ourselves.
Expect deep insights on trust, flow, and the mysterious ways life delivers when we loosen our grip.

(Blog): Waking Up to Deeper Truths
Today, we're gonna face the abyss. Together we will explore the nature of perception, the limitations of human experience, and the existential weight of our impermanence. Through reflections on personal experiences, philosophy, and the silent workings of our body, I try to uncover the deeper mysteries of this existence.
This will be a deep dive into the unseen layers of reality and the ultimate question: What are we doing here?
Some key points include:
The Subjectivity of Reality – How our unique conditioning and biology shape our perception of the world.
The Silent Workings of the Body – How much of our experience happens beyond conscious awareness.
The Narrow Window of Human Perception – What we’re missing beyond our sensory limits.
Breaking Free from Illusions – How chasing external validation is a futile pursuit.
Facing the Abyss – Confronting the meaninglessness of existence and what lies beyond.
Dying Before You Die – Letting go of old identities to uncover a deeper experience of life.

(Blog): Living in a Complex World
In episode three of Profound Journey, I reflect on the tension between the way I want to live and the way I’ve been conditioned to live—caught between ambition and a longing for simplicity. As I grow older, I find myself drawn more and more to what some might call "woo-woo" wisdom, seeking a life in harmony with nature, yet struggling with the ego-driven pursuit of more. I share insights from my travels in Vietnam, where pollution and exploitation of resources brought into sharp focus the consequences of progress at the planet's expense. This episode also touches on my personal journey toward detachment, symbolized by shaving my head and losing a cherished necklace—a lesson in letting go. As I prepare for a Muay Thai bootcamp in Thailand, a recent injury reminds me that life has a way of teaching us patience and the value of simplicity.
