Brian Tan's Path: Effective Altruist
<p>Brian Tan is currently a Group Support Contractor for the Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA). He is also a co-founder of <a href="https://www.linkedin.com/company/effective-altruism-philippines/">Effective Altruism Philippines</a>; which now has three local EA student chapters in Ateneo, UP Diliman, and La Salle.</p> <p><br></p> <p>He is also the co-founder of Whitebox Research, a non-profit initiative in Manila which aims to solve open research problems in AI interpretability and develop more AI safety researchers.</p> <p><br></p> <p>He joins the Project Offbeat podcast to talk about the life of an effective altruist and how he came about this unique philosophy.
