<p>Guest Bio:&nbsp;</p> <p>Julia is the Coordinator Minority Teacher at the Recruitment Center. She graduated from WKU in 2006 with a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies degree with emphasis in Organization and Communication of Ideas. &nbsp;Simultaneously, &nbsp;she acquired a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Leadership, making her a National Certified Nonprofit Professional. &nbsp;In previous years, Julia worked at the Center for Citizenship and Social Justice as the Program Support Specialist. &nbsp;Previously, she also worked at the WKU ALIVE Center as a Multicultural Services Coordinator and the Coordinator of the Hispanic GED and ESL Program. &nbsp;Julia is proud of being first generation Latina alumni and strives to assist students in any way possible to see them succeed. &nbsp;Because of this, she decided to continue in the higher education field and obtained a Master of Arts in Education degree in Student Affairs program at WKU.</p> <p>Ways to Connect:&nbsp;</p> <p>Julia is available for career chats, classroom presentations, and Group Tours of her organization.
