Prompt Me Episode 9: Isaias Hiram Urrabazo
<p class="p1">Isaias Hiram Urrabazo is a native Las Vegan and is one of seven children. He is an accomplished artist, singer, actor, public speaker, and costume designer. He is currently Head of Wardrobe at Magic Mike Live: Las Vegas.</p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">For the past few years, Isaias has been sculpting Halloween folk art and Day of the Dead art. It has been exhibited in the All Hallow’s Art Fest in Petaluma, California and Hallowbaloo in Bothell, Washington. He has won two Best in Show awards and three People’s Choice awards for his Day of the Dead installation at the annual Springs Preserve Dia de los Muertos festival in Las Vegas, Nevada which takes place annually on the weekend following November 1st and 2nd.</p> <p class="p2"> </p> <p class="p1">Isaias is a self-taught sculptor. His solo show, “Life, Death, Rebirth” has been exhibited at the Pioneer Theatre Loge Gallery in Salt Lake City, Utah.</p> <p class="p1">The exhibit can currently be seen:</p> <p class="p1">October 28 - November 12, 2022</p> <p class="p1">10am-6pm and before and after the current production, Shucked.</p> <p class="p1">Pioneer Theatre Loge Gallery</p> <p class="p1">His art work has also been exhibited by the Gateway Arts Foundation and the Life and Death Festival at the Winchester Cultural Center, where he won Best in Show.</p> <p class="p1">His art can be found in the homes of Sally Struthers of “All in the Family” fame and Joey Fatone of *NSYNC.
