About Prophecy in the Spotlight with Dan Goodwin

Prophecy in the Spotlight with Evangelist Dan Goodwin and Dr. Charles Hiltibidal "The most up to date study of prophetical events of our day!” Others have called it “a stunning and even chilling revelation of how close we are to the end of the world!” The purpose of this show is to sound the horn to the people of God. Jesus is coming, and He is coming soon! Global events are happening so fast it is hard to keep up. Everything is in place for the rise of Antichrist. It is time for the saints to awaken; it is time for the church of God to arise from its slumber. The clock is getting ready to strike midnight. Everything on earth is about to change. Woe unto those who are not ready to meet the Lord. This show reveals: The 70th and final Jubilee is on the horizon. The Bible’s built-in Prophetic calendar. The customs of a Jewish wedding and the Bride of Christ. The purpose of the Tribulation from the book of Daniel. Ten solid proofs of a Pre-Tribulation rapture. The reason the Tribulation is measured in days not years. The Kinsman Redeemer and the title deed to planet earth. Why we may be the last generation. A seven thousand year history of the world. The identity of the two witnesses. When the New Testament really began. What in the world is going on. The coming blood red moons.

Prophecy in the Spotlight with Dan Goodwin Laodicean Christianity Part Two: The "Un-" and "Self-" Words of a Lukewarm Church Dan Goodwin and co-host Charles Hiltibidal continue their study of Revelation's Laodicean church, working through two parallel word lists, hyphenated "un-" words and "self-" words, that they say describe today's lukewarm, self-centered Christianity. Picking Up Laodicean Christianity, Part Two Dan Goodwin opens Prophecy in the Spotlight by telling viewers this episode continues last week's study of Laodicean Christianity, the final church of Revelation chapter three. He reviews the passage, verses fourteen through eighteen, where Christ tells the angel of the Laodiceans that He knows their works, that they are neither cold nor hot, and that because they are lukewarm He will spew them out of His mouth. Goodwin reads the church's own words, "I am rich, and increased with goods," and calls it a description that fits modern believers who have too much stuff to even consider the mission field. He and co-host Charles Hiltibidal, called Doc, joke about the storage shed industry, with Goodwin recalling a man from decades ago who was told buying a storage facility business guaranteed income for life because everyone has more belongings than space. Goodwin notes Revelation chapter four opens with a door opened in heaven, which the two read as the rapture, insisting the church age clock is ticking down toward the end. The List of Un- Words Returns Hiltibidal explains that months of research produced a list of hyphenated "un-" words describing today's lukewarm believers, beginning with unattached, people connected to no accountable membership, and unaccountable, since many reject the authority God placed in a pastor as under-shepherd. Goodwin ties accountability to Hebrews thirteen, where believers are told to submit to those who watch for their souls and must give an account, distinguishing it from Romans thirteen's command to submit to government. The two move through unreliable, unconcerned, unfaithful and unwilling, Goodwin lamenting that the biblical cry "here am I, Lord, send me" seems absent from today's missionaries, though Hiltibidal defends that most missionaries his own church supports remain solid in doctrine. They continue through unchurched, uncommitted, and unscriptural, which Hiltibidal ties to confusion over which Bible translation to trust, recalling a podcaster who favors the ESV and has quoted three different Bibles in one message, creating, Goodwin says, a dangerous situation where the listener decides which Bible is right. Accountability, Authority, and the Under-Shepherd The conversation turns to church governance, with Hiltibidal warning that the greater danger facing the modern church is not outside opposition but a creeping Laodiceanism among believers themselves. He criticizes congregations that strip denominational names from their signs to seem generic and that replace a single pastor with a leadership team, insisting that even Paul and Barnabas worked as a team under clear order, God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, down to the under-shepherd. Goodwin agrees that the buck does not stop with a deacon board, noting that even board-run churches usually have one man whose vote everyone watches, making him the real authority, sometimes above the pastor himself. Hiltibidal says he finds this grieving to watch, comparing his reaction to Christ being sick at His stomach over the Laodiceans. Goodwin adds that many pastors have simply given up their authority because the culture pressures them to measure success by numbers and money rather than faithfulness to scripture, so they stop fighting and drift from hot into lukewarm. From Un- Words to Self- Words Hiltibidal reveals that his "un-" word list grew out of a parallel list of "self-" words describing the same lukewarm believers, beginning with self-centred and self-orientated, which Goodwin links to a selfie generatio

Prophecy in the Spotlight with Dan Goodwin Laodicean Christianity: The "Un-" Words That Describe Today's Lukewarm Church Dan Goodwin and Charles Hiltibidal open Revelation chapter three's letter to the Laodicean church to describe today's Christianity, working through a growing list of "un-" words, unattached, unaccountable, unreliable and more, that they see marking lukewarm believers and churches in the last days. Opening: Revelation Three and Laodicean Christianity Dan Goodwin opens the broadcast alone, naming the week's theme Laodicean Christianity and reading Revelation chapter three, verses fourteen through sixteen, where Christ tells the angel of the church of the Laodiceans that He knows their works, that they are neither cold nor hot, and that because they are lukewarm He will spew them out of His mouth. Goodwin calls that image a polite way of saying He will vomit them out, and tells viewers that God hates this condition. He reads ahead to the church's own self-assessment, that it is rich and increased with goods, and names that attitude as the mark of this final end-time church. Goodwin says the program will explain what Laodicean Christianity means and why it matters, promising an exciting show before sending the broadcast to its first break and urging viewers not to miss what follows. His voice is admittedly weak from a cold, a detail he mentions will shape how the hour unfolds with co-host Charles Hiltibidal. Seven Churches as a Prophetic Timeline Back from the break, Charles Hiltibidal, called Doc, explains that Revelation's seven churches in chapters two and three were real congregations whose letters also map onto eras of church history, each church representing an age the church as a whole has passed through. He points to a chart showing the first age, Ephesus, the apostolic age, dated to the year 118, the year Hiltibidal says the Apostle John died as the last living apostle, correcting the common idea that Paul died on the Isle of Patmos. Hiltibidal explains Paul was actually removed from Patmos after a regime change in Rome and returned to Ephesus, where he trained Polycarp and sent missionaries across the known world. Goodwin agrees that many teachers before them have read the seven churches this way, and the two conclude that the Laodicean church, the seventh and final letter, represents the present age, bad but not something believers must belong to, since the chapter that follows, Revelation four, opens with the door of the rapture. Lukewarm Christianity and the Middle of the Road Dan Goodwin notes that Christ is coming for what he calls a lukewarm, carnal, worldly, lifeless church, quickly adding he hopes he is not part of that description. Hiltibidal agrees some believers and churches remain Philadelphian, faithful like that earlier church, but says the defining sign of the end times within the church age is lukewarmness itself. He argues most Christians today avoid being hot, fearing the label of a Bible-thumping, hellfire preacher, while also avoiding the cold extreme associated with churches that fly a pride flag from the pulpit, leaving them hunting for the middle of the road. Goodwin cites Jesus's question in Luke 18:8, "When I return, shall I find faith on the Earth," calling it a rhetorical statement rather than a real question. Goodwin adds that in America, government welfare has replaced the dependence on faith that once made people pray simply to eat, while Hiltibidal observes that once preachers quit preaching what the Bible says, they have already drifted from hot into lukewarm water. First Un-Words: Unattached, Unaccountable, Unreliable Hiltibidal turns to the Laodiceans' own words, "I am rich, and increased with goods," explaining he has spent weeks researching commentaries and believes the claim describes both physical wealth and a parallel spiritual self-sufficiency that says, "I have need of nothing," no church, no fellowship of believers. From there he unveils a

Prophecy in the Spotlight with Dan Goodwin Prophecy Converging: Israel, Ezekiel 38, and the Roads Coming Together Dan Goodwin and Charles Hiltibidal describe the roads of prophecy converging on one main highway, from Israel and the Ezekiel 38 war to Daniel's kingdoms and the Laodicean church, and urge viewers to be ready for the Lord's return. Roads of Prophecy Converging on One Highway Dan Goodwin opens Prophecy in the Spotlight by announcing the theme, Prophecy Converging, and describing many roads of prophecy, including the church and Israel, as lanes of traffic merging into one main road toward a city. He says the world is at the very edge of the cliff and the trumpet is getting ready to sound. Goodwin acknowledges that some listeners were disappointed when the Feast of Trumpets passed without the Lord's return, but says he was never disappointed, because he never believed Jesus would come on that day. He points viewers to video number 275 on the show's YouTube channel, a presentation he made in the studio with a PowerPoint. Co-host Charles Hiltibidal, called Doc, supplied the highway picture. The two joke about keeping a bag packed, and trade lines about taking nothing to heaven except souls reached and works remembered at the judgment seat. Before the first break, Goodwin says the traffic is building and the lights of the city are already visible. Why Preachers Avoid Prophecy Back from the break, Goodwin and Hiltibidal joke about the work of preparing a program, and Hiltibidal says they need no notes because they have worked in this field for more than 40 years. Hiltibidal marvels that he has been in the ministry for 65 years, and Goodwin admits that during a recent live stream he got so carried away listing signs of the end that he never reached his topic. The men recall the 1988 book 88 Reasons Why '88 Is the Year of the Rapture, which Hiltibidal once answered with sermons in Dallas, and they agree that date setting is not what they do, though they admit some people take their remarks out of context. Hiltibidal then describes how many pastors seem unwilling to touch prophecy, even though their people are hungry for it. Goodwin says he thinks preachers stay away because they do not know the subject and feel embarrassed, and Hiltibidal recalls pastors admitting prophecy is not their strength. Israel, Ezekiel 38, and the Antichrist's Temple Offer Dan Goodwin names Israel as the biggest road of prophecy, because the tribulation is largely about Israel, and Hiltibidal recalls an article showing how interpreters' views of prophecy shifted from 1929 to 1944 to 1948. Goodwin credits M. R. DeHaan with seeing it early, and both men trace key moments: the Balfour agreements, which Goodwin dates to 1917, the 1948 founding of the nation, and the 1967 Six-Day War. Goodwin says he cannot prove it but has long felt the Antichrist will offer the Jews a third temple as a carrot for their allegiance, and Hiltibidal expects the Antichrist to be accepted as Messiah by Jews and as the Mahdi or 12th Imam by Muslims, the 'he' of Daniel 9:27 who confirms the covenant. Turning to Ezekiel 38, the men describe a coalition including Russia, Iran and Turkey, and Goodwin links a weapon that takes seven years to burn to the seven-year countdown, a point the transcript leaves unclear. Calendars, Creation Days, and Daniel's Beasts Hiltibidal says God does everything exactly on time and questions how near the 6,000th year is, since a day with the Lord is a thousand years and God would not be late for the Sabbath. Goodwin notes that six is the number of man and points to Genesis 6:3, where God says man's days shall be 120 years, which he divides by fifty to reach a 120th Jubilee, the number he links to the 6,000th year. Hiltibidal argues the 120 years had nothing to do with Noah, whose ark took about 98 years to build, and says that taken literally, the Millennial Reign is the seventh day, the Sabbath. Goodwin then turns to Daniel 2
