Episode 13: Scott Wheeler of The Athletic joins the show

Well, it's been a long time coming, but we're back for Episode 13! Scott Wheeler, a national reporter who covers the NHL draft and prospects for The Athletic, was kind enough to join us on the show this week. We talked with Scott about how he became interested in writing and prospects, updates on the CHL (WHL, OHL & QMJHL) return-to-play protocols, his thoughts on a few 2021 NHL Draft eligible prospects, Matthew Savoie/Cole Sillinger and their hot starts to their USHL career, the Calder Trophy conversation in this unorthodox NHL season, and much more! Thank you so much to Scott for taking the time to chat about prospects and the NHL with us!

Episode 12: Kent Johnson joins the show

For our newest episode of Prospect Talk, Mark Citron and I chatted with Michigan Wolverines freshman forward, Kent Johnson. We talked with Kent about what he did at his house throughout the early stages of the pandemic, how his first semester of college has gone so far throughout these uncertain times, his terrific 2019/20 campaign with the BCHL's Trail Smoke Eaters, and much more! It was an absolute pleasure to have the chance to speak with one of the top prospects eligible for the 2021 NHL Draft, and we hope you all have as much fun listening to this episode as we did recording it! Thanks to Kent for joining us on the show!

Episode 11: Adam & Luca Fantilli join the show

Mark and I are finally back after a few long months! We had two very special guests join on us on the show last week, two brothers who in fact will be taking both of their talents to Chicago with the Chicago Steel (USHL) for the upcoming season, but both Adam and Luca Fantilli were kind enough to take the time to talk some hockey with both of us. We asked both of the guys how last season went with Kimball Union, playing together for consecutive seasons both as brothers and with KUA teammate Tomas Mazura, how both of them were able to get creative during the pause, and much more! Thanks to both Adam & Luca for joining us on the show!
