54. It's A Bogota Feeling ft. Pig One1

I sit down with @pig.one1 a colombian illustrator and clothing brand owner of Bogota Feeling : https://www.instagram.com/bogotafeeling/During this conversation I see a lot of similarities with Nicholas, we both are illustrators with a passion for streetwear clothing. What stook out to me was his name Pig One obviously me using a pig as the mascot for my brand I was wondering if he also drew Pigs but to my surprise it is just a name that stems from being stubborn or "pigheaded".

Nicholas's work ethic is apparent from the moment I arrived to his studio because he was in the middle of working on more cut & sewn tees for his brand. With his mom being a tailor he has been able to streamline his process to where he can manufacture his own designs straight from home. Bogota Feeling has deep roots in Hip Hop culture which I found fascinating because it pays homage to 90s-2000s era underground music primarily from New York. I learn so much about him and the streetwear culture in Bogota through this sit down. Thank you for listening and hearing us out, my spanish isn't as good as his as you can tell but I know with more conversations like this one it can only get better! Make sure you go follow PigOne and his brand it is super dope! Hope you have a great day keep making pigs fly! https://www.instagram.com/pig.one1/

53. Design is A Team Sport ft Larry Tchogninou

In this episode I sit down with someone in the design space that is making a name for himself for his hard work, fresh concepts and bigger than life creation. Larry Tchogninou is an aspiring architect from Benin he studied in France and recently went back to school for architecture.

Larry designs items that he hopes will one day scale to heights of buildings one day. From this conversation I can tell he is someone who doesn't take no for an answer, Larry will find a way to make it happen. From an egg holder to complex con's booth designs larry has no limit on what he can design/create he just wants to make the world a more beautiful functional place.

Thank you for listening and watching the full video to this episode on our youtube, you can follow Larry @larrytchogninou and myself @pabsprints.

51: Hero's Gallery ft. D'andre & Ty

Bonus Episode: We sit down with Ty and D'andre two very talented brothers that have been mastering their craft for a long time. D'andre is an artist in every sense of the word he creates music, comics and illustrates them himself. Ty creates amazing cut & sewn garments with an attention to detail that would rival any of your favorite brands. We talk about our first time meeting, collaborating on an event at PSA and what they hope to accomplish in the next 5 years. Ty actually surprised us by saying he will be joiningg the Airforce soon and will take some time off from designing we then get into the similarites about superhero films and how they show alot of military propeganda. The subject of brotherhood is brought up alot on this episode being that this is the first times we have brothers on the pod but also with my two sons on my mind and me being an only child I find it really intriguing. We learn so much about these two and I cant thank them enough for coming on and sharing their story, I hope to have them back one day at the shop to showcase their work again. Thank you for listening all the way through and for being a part of this journey. Remember to keep making Pigs Fly!
