Era globalisasi ini memudahkan kita dalam memperoleh berbagai jenis informasi, sumbernya juga beranekaragam. Informasi riil terdiri dari sekumpulan fakta yang dapat dibuktikan kebenarannya. Banyak sekali platform / media yang mendukung kita untuk menemukan informasi, namun tak sedikit juga informasi yang kita peroleh berasal dari mulut ke mulut yang dapat menyebabkan adanya kabar burung. Kebenaran dari kabar burung tersebut dapat diduga meragukan, cenderung berasal dari opini tanpa ada fakta empiris yang mendukung opini tersebut sehingga dapat digolongkan sebagai mitos atau bahkan berita hoax. Mitos cepat sekali untuk diserap dan merupakan bagian dari kebudayaan kita di masyarakat. Namun pernahkah kalian berpikir bagaimana mitos bisa mempengaruhi pola pikir kita akan suatu hal?
