Psypris' Asylum: Embrace Insanity

About Psypris' Asylum: Embrace Insanity

Welcome to Psypris' Asylum: Embrace Insanity a storytelling sanctuary for nerds, night owls, and neuro-divergent souls alike. Hosted by voice actress and creative professional, Cari Favole (gaming handle Psypris), this podcast blends calming mindfulness, comforting tales, and chaotic nerd culture in one immersive audio experience. Each episode follows a familiar rhythm: 📰 Community News & Updates to stay in the loop 🌬️ A short Guided Meditation to anchor the mind 📖 A Story Segment that could be anything within this genre! From thought-provoking essays, enticing (public domain) adventures, video game plot summaries, voice actor biographies and yes, - even listener-submitted gems! With a mission rooted in mental health advocacy, safe space storytelling, and embracing joyful escapism, Psypris' Asylum invites you to unapologetically enjoy the things you love—without needing drugs, alcohol, or permission. Video games are healing. Pop culture is connection. And childlike wonder is a strength, not a weakness. Whether you’re here to wind down, geek out, or feel a little less alone, you’re welcome. So press play, take a breath, and remember to Stay CRAZY: Creative, Reassured, Affirmative, Zealous, You. 🔎FYI: This podcast series has had a few iterations; hence the extensive library! However, it always had one common thread: Storytelling. Pivoting back to the initial concept, with a more authentic foundation, fans of "Reading With Cari: Stories To Fall Asleep To" will find a home here. Not to leave out listeners of "Name That Voice" - voice acting insights are here to stay!
