前言：掌握启示录的重要性
为什么研究启示录的预言如此的重要? 答案: 因为日期近了 使徒约翰自己指着这启示录说：“在这书上预言的和那些听见又遵守其中所记载的，都是有福的，因为日期近了。”（启 1:3） 犯罪行为几乎已达到顶点了。全世界都充满了纷乱，极大的恐慌即将临到世人。我们这明白真理的人当作好准备，应付那将要临到世界，而令人极度惊奇的事。……我们这班人是否都在打盹睡觉呢，啊，那班在本会各机构中，现在没有为主的显现准备妥当，不配成为主家里的分子的青年男女们若能辨别时兆，则在他们身上将要看见何等的改变啊！主耶稣现在号召克己牺牲的工作人员来跟从祂的脚踪行，与祂同…行合作，高举十字架，追随祂所引领的路。有许多人向主献上微不足道的服务便心满意足。他们的基督徒精神软弱无力。基督为救罪人而将自己舍了。我们看见世人在罪孽中沦亡，心中应该充满怎样救灵的焦虑不安啊！这些生灵都是曾经以重价买来的。上帝儿子在髑髅地十字架上的死亡，乃是他们身价的量度。他们日复一日地在那里自行决定，究竟是要享有永远的生命，或遭遇永远的死亡。 {主比快来 138页}

夏天近了的无花果树
无花果树基本上就是比喻基督复临和先兆 -- 天上的万象都要消没；天被卷起，好像书卷。其上的万象要残败，像葡萄树的叶子残败，又像无花果树的叶子残败一样。(赛34:4) 「你们可以从无花果树学个比方：当树枝发嫩长叶的时候，你们就知道夏天近了。这样，你们看见这一切的事，也该知道人子近了，正在门口了。(太 24:30-33)
