Public Space [Season 2] Sensuality of Self (March 11 2026)

Public Space: a Community for the In-Between Welcome to Public Space, a community dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced religious trauma or find themselves in-between and are looking for Self/God as well as community. "We exist Beyond the Four Walls of Colonized Religion." Here, we create a safe and vibrant space where members can explore and share spirituality, stories, art, and intellectual inquiry through critical dialogue. Join us as we embark on a journey of healing, Self-discovery, and creative expression. Together, we will foster a supportive community that empowers individuals to reclaim their voice, embrace their unique journeys, embody a Path-Maker Archetype and find solace and strength in the company of like-minded individuals. Public Space Dialogue: "Sensuality of Self" Date & Time: March 11, 2026 Synopsis: In this episode of Public Space, we enter a deeply personal and embodied conversation with photographer and creative Wren Morrow about what it means to reclaim sensuality after purity culture, religious conditioning, and the quiet ways many of us learned to distrust our own bodies. Wren’s work as an outdoor boudoir and erotic adventure photographer emerged from her own journey of unlearning the rules she grew up with in the Bible Belt—rules that framed the body as something to control, hide, or transcend. Instead of continuing to perform those inherited scripts, she began exploring sensuality as something far more honest: an inherent quality of being alive. Together, we explore how sensuality becomes a form of self-recognition rather than performance, and how returning to the body can open pathways for healing religious trauma, reclaiming agency, and rediscovering a sense of belonging within one’s own skin. Recorded during the threshold between Pisces and Aries season, this dialogue moves between reflection and courage—between remembering and becoming. In this conversation, we explore: How purity culture shapes our relationship to the body and desire Photography as an embodied and spiritual practice The difference between performative sexuality and authentic sensuality Healing religious trauma through presence, nature, and self-trust What it means to live visibly and truthfully in one’s own body Sensuality of Self is an invitation to listen inward—to the quiet intelligence of sensation, the rhythms of the natural world, and the possibility that the sacred was never somewhere else to begin with. For anyone navigating life beyond inherited frameworks of shame or certainty, this episode offers a gentle reminder: the body is not an obstacle to spiritual life—it is the doorway. Public Space Dialogue: "Cognitive Ecology" Date & Time: January 30th, 2026 Synopsis: In this episode of Public Space, we sit down with author Sher Griffin to explore the groundbreaking ideas behind her new book, Cognitive Ecology: Mapping Your Mind for Self-Understanding. Sher introduces us to the mind as a dynamic, living ecosystem — one shaped by memory, emotion, environment, habit, trauma, imagination, and the stories we tell ourselves. Rather than treating thought as a mechanical process, Cognitive Ecology offers a nuanced, compassionate framework for understanding how our inner landscapes evolve and how we can learn to navigate them with greater clarity. Sher’s approach is accessible, deeply human, and rooted in both psychological insight and lived experience. Whether you’re moving through transition, seeking greater self-awareness, or simply curious about the invisible structures shaping your thoughts, this conversation offers a powerful guide to understanding the landscapes within. Public Space [Season 2] Embodying The Goddess (Jan 11 2026)

Public Space: a Community for the In-Between Welcome to Public Space, a community dedicated to supporting individuals who have experienced religious trauma or find themselves in-between and are looking for Self/God as well as community. "We exist Beyond the Four Walls of Colonized Religion." Public Space Dialogue: "Embodying The Goddess" Date & Time: January 10th, 2026 Synopsis: In this episode of Public Space, we sit down with author, educator, and yoga therapist Cynthia Abulafia for a powerful conversation on embodiment, healing, and spirituality beyond rigid frameworks. Drawing from her Shakta-tantra lineage and her upcoming book, Embodying the Goddess, Cynthia invites us to reconsider the role of the body as central—not peripheral—to the spiritual path. Together, we explore how patriarchal and transcendence-oriented spiritual systems have often severed seekers from their bodies, intuition, and lived experience. Cynthia names this pattern as “transcendence bias” and offers a trauma-informed, compassionate response rooted in non-dual traditions, subtle body anatomy, movement science, and breath-based practices.
