Episode 10: Queers at the Frontlines of Liberation - Jasmine Reid + Sydney Baloue
This episode, with guests @ibeiridescent and @sydneybaloue, traces the throughline from past to present: queer and trans people have always stood at the frontlines of collective liberation. Poet Jasmine Reid and writer/producer/ballroom historian Sydney Baloue bring their respective lineages—from poetry, ballroom, and archive—into conversation. We unpack ancestry as strategy, joy as resistance, and the cultural labor that gets erased when the wins are written down. Jasmine and Sydney offer an honest look at how the movements that came before us shape the futures we’re still building.

Episode 7: Gender Binaries - Ivan Lam + Bobby Sanchez
EPISODE 7: GENDER BINARIES ft. @ivanbaaaaah + @bobbysanchezmusic
This episode examines the nuance of navigating a binary world as people of trans experience. Self expression and acceptance comes at a price — we talk about safety, survival, discrimination and conformity. By dismantling the "binary prisons" that risk trading the shackles of dysphoria for rigid gender roles, the conversation questions what true liberation looks like outside of a cisnormative default. Joined by guests Bobby Sanchez and Ivan Lam, the episode dives into the mechanics of gender policing and how nonbinary experiences navigate safety, ultimately uncovering how authenticity is forged outside the binary.
