<p>Purposeful Women of God began as both Ashlee and Tabitha were seeking a way to minister to women of all walks of life. As they were praying, the Lord began to impress on Ashlee’s heart to begin a podcast and to ask Tabitha to join her. It didn’t take Tabitha long to commit because God was working in her heart as well. </p> <p>When we say we want to “change our focus from me to THEE,” it’s because we recognize that our world is bombarded with self-help guides, and while these are not all bad, we know that the only way we can have true joy and contentment is to find our purpose and calling that only comes through discovering who we are in Christ. Join us as we begin to change our focus from ME to THEE!</p> <p></p>

Ep. 127 - Armor of God Series Ep. 7: The Sword of the Spirit
<p class="" data-rte-preserve-empty="true" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In Episode 7 of the Armor of God series, we study the final piece of armor found in Ephesians 6 — the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Unlike the other pieces of armor that protect us defensively, the sword is the believer’s only offensive weapon in spiritual battle.</p><p class="" data-rte-preserve-empty="true" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In this episode, we discuss the power of Scripture, how Jesus used the Word of God to defeat temptation, and why it is essential for believers to know and correctly apply the Bible in their daily lives. Ep. 126 - Armor of God Series Ep. 6: The Helmet of Salvation
<p data-rte-preserve-empty="true" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In Episode 6 of the Armor of God series, we dive into the Helmet of Salvation from Ephesians 6:17 and explore why protecting our minds is crucial in spiritual warfare. Just as a Roman soldier would never enter battle without a helmet, believers cannot afford to leave their minds unguarded.</p><p class="" data-rte-preserve-empty="true" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">Salvation not only secures our eternity through Jesus Christ, but it also protects our thoughts, identity, and mindset while we live in a fallen world. When we fail to “wear” the helmet of salvation, we leave ourselves vulnerable to the enemy’s lies, negative thinking, fear, and spiritual confusion.</p><p class="" data-rte-preserve-empty="true" style="white-space:pre-wrap;">In this episode, we discuss how renewing our minds through Scripture, prayer, worship, and intentional living helps us stand firm against the enemy’s attacks. The helmet of salvation reminds us who we belong to and gives us the confidence and peace to live daily as daughters of the King.
