اسم این پادکست «قضیه ساندویچ» است اما نه ربطی به نحوهی درست کردن ساندویچ داره و نه ربطی به قضایای ریاضی. قضیهی هر ساندویچ با کاغذی کامل میشه که ساندویچ فروش، موقع سرو ساندویچ، با مهارتی خیرهکننده دورش میپیچه. گرهی به شکل پاپیون، زیر ساندویچ، که برای ساندویچ به معنای تنگناست و تنگنا قصهی زندگی خیلی از ما آدمهاست. این پادکست روایت ستاره و هامان است که در دانشگاه با هم آشنا شدند و میخواستند بعد از ازدواج در ایران برای ادامه تحصیل به خارج از کشور بروند امّا چالشهایی برایشان به وجود آمد.

برام پیام اومد. زهرا بود. نوشته بود: «انجام شد عزیزم، سی تا!! ایمیلت رو چک کن. یلدات روشن!» باورم نمیشد. نمیتونستم حتی یه لحظه صبر کنم. سرعت داغون اینترنت کلافهام میکرد. بالاخره دانلود شد! سی تا از دخترهای خوابگاه امضاء کرده بودند!
