The Students Arrive
This episode begins with the eagerly anticipated arrival of the first medical school class in August 2013 and spans their four-year tenure at QU Netter. By the time orientation began for the inaugural class of 60 students, 24 faculty members had been hired to teach the pre-clerkship (years 1 & 2) curriculum. We will hear from people on the admissions team, faculty, staff, leaders, and members of the class of 2017, a class who was very much a part of the continued evolution of the medical school. The Early Years
The first episode chronicles the genesis of the school and the years leading up to the matriculation of the first class in 2013. The startup phase of QU Netter spanned approximately four years and it was a busy and exciting few years. The first step was to assemble a team of the best possible faculty, staff, leadership, and clinical partners to create the infrastructure, systems, and curriculum needed to establish and fulfill the vision for this new medical school, build the physical space, successfully obtain accreditation, and recruit an incredible first class of medical students.
