Episode 203 - Diana Noricumbo - Candidate Calexico City Council
THIS IS NOT AN ENDORSEMENT. My guest today is a Calexico High Alumni, a former Marine, a mother, wife, business owner and now candidate for Calexico City Council, Mrs Diana Noricumbo. Her family moved from Salinas to Calexico when she as 12 and she's been here pretty much ever since, except for those years she was in the service. If elected Diana hopes to bring her educational background and experience as a business owner paired with her drive to make Calexico a more business friendly city to help bring in more tax revenue to the city's budget. She is running her campaign together with Mrs Lisa Tylenda, unfortunately she was not able to join us in our conversation today due to a family emergency.

My guest today is life long Coachella Valley resident, school board president and long time community leader and now candidate for CA State Assembly, District 36, Joey Acuna. Being an advocate and long time board member Joey hopes to bring his political experience to continue some of the projects his predecessor has started and also bring other ideas and projects to the constituents of district 36. Some of his priorities are improving public schools, combating rising costs, creating jobs, expanding health care, among others.
