HUGE…their culture… Whips/Chaos Rambo & Zed That defense + Nardella Archers vs Atlas Atlas shipped everyone away **no Teat Archers offense is loaded + Fields who really got a tough deal last year Atlas/Waterdogs REBUILDS: Give them time….Atlas need Teat!! Waterdogs im not sure who their offense will come from! Sowers debut Cannons vs Waterdogs Sowers debut Everyone loves Goodrich Cannons : Lyle + Kew + Rabil + Brodie = this team is very good Chrome vs Woods Woods are a good team. Jones + Perk ..Ryan Lee is my fav attack player not named Lyle Chrome: Jordan Macintosh. idk it feels like the last 2 years the chrome don’t quite have “it” offensively. T The better goalie on their roster is Sconone….but Soudan is basically in love with Galloway so I don’t see that change… Mike Manley is from PY did you see that hit!? his dad is a football coach Closing thoughts: Whos gonna beat the Whips ?? Sowers Injury & what will the league do with repeat ofenders like EPPLE: Someone bit a finger off in hotel??? These guys can’t stay together in the same hotel!! I make some Bold Predictions! We can all get behind the LEAGUES!! PLL/NLL or watch out for PLL to make their OWN indoor league Women’s Lax League!! Episode 14: Full Goal aka Goalie Wars with Brett Queener
Episode 14: Full Goal aka Goalie Wars with Brett Queener We talk about “goalie wars” on the Queener Lax podcast A LOT and how we and other top players really believe it is the best game you can play to get better at lacrosse, get the absolute most reps. All while learning to compete and have fun!! We grew up playing in the Chicken Coop and Backyard playing “FULL GOAL” we’ve since called it Goalie Wars as it is a catchy name and just easier to teach new players quickly! Most people who play goalie wars just fire hard balls back and forth at each other and there aren’t any other rules to the game. Full Goal or our version of Goalie Wars has rules and more “gamesmanship” as @kingqueener says!! Enjoy the Podcast of us talking about Full Goal/Goalie Wars and check out the IG/Youtube video of some live game play! Some but not all benefits of the game include: Hand eye Shooting Reps Compete Love of game! #lax #qlax #goaliewars #fullgoal #qtips #lacrosse #laxpod #lacrossepod

Episode 8: Brendan Bomberry Pro Lax & Team Iroquois Super Star
On Episode 8 we’re so fortunate to have one of my favorite people in the lacrosse world Brendan Bomberry. I was lucky enough in my early coaching career to get to teach, and coach Brendan at The Hill Academy. In our “dorm house” I saw first hand how he’d get home after school, hockey or lax practice & coach Noble workouts and still want to play Goalie Wars or Back Yard Lax w/a tennis ball. As a player, Brendan has since gone on to win Minto Cups for the Six Nations Arrows, and Pro Championships for the MLL Bayhawks and NLL Georgia Swarm.. For Team Iroquois, he has won a bronze medal in the Box and Field World Games!! As a young man, he has just co-authored a book and is doing big things with Turtle Island Lacrosse!! He has also taken an active role on social media to talk about social and cultural issues. On this episode, we Lax Poetic about Brendan’s love for lacrosse, cultural awareness, goalie wars, playing with a tennis ball, his experiences in the game, the Swarm locker room, playing different roles on teams, Team Iroquois & the World Games, his mindset, and how he is now a role model for future players and what that means to him & So much more!! Obviously we had to mention our legendary @thehill Grade 10 Canadian history class, with Zach Miller, Dallas Bridle, RJ, and Nick Ritchie…Nick..Bomber won more mintos!! Lastly, we talk about how much of an internet tough guy @bubbavoigt is and that he’s soft in person.

Episode 1: Dan Groot talking DMID
Host, Brice Queener sat down with 10 year MLL Vet Dan Groot to discuss all things DMID The All-American midfielder from Maryland University is a phenomenal 2 way midfielder, however, we decided to talk strictly about the position of DMID, widely regarded as the hardest position to play on the field, but there isn’t much information or fanfare for the position… We discussed how he trains for the position athletically and mentally.
