Pairing a Poem to a Tea (ft. Plum Deluxe and my Dad)
Big thank you to Plum Deluxe for sending me these delicious four teas! We had a lot of fun coming up with poem and song pairings for each tea. The names of the blends we had today are 'Reading Nook Blend Black Tea', 'Self Care Blend Herbal Tea', 'Magic Butterfly Herbal Tea', and 'Oregon Breakfast Black Tea'. Lyrics for "Beautiful World" (Loose Leaf Tea Version) by Colin Hay:
My my my, it's a beautiful world
I like swimming in the sea
I like to go out beyond the white breakers
Where a man can be a man,
Or a woman if you are one
I like swimming in the sea.
My my my, it's a beautiful world
I like drinking loose leaf tea
An Oregon Breakfast or a Magic Butterfly
I wake up early, head out on a drive
Out to the country, feeling quite free
Yeah, I like making my own tea.
My my my, it's a beautiful world
I like driving my own car
Roll the top down, I travel quite far
Enjoy a full moon Chai, stare at the stars
I like driving my own car.
And still this emptiness persists
Perhaps it's as good as it gets
When you've given up that coffee
and those nasty cigarettes
Now I try the Reading Nook Blend... No regrets
I watch the sun come up, I watch it as it sets
Yeah, it's as good as it gets.
My my my, it's a beautiful world
I like drinking loose leaf tea
A little Self Care Herbal, winding down the day
Makes me happy, in certain company
For now that's good enough for me
Yes, that's surely good enough for me.

Tea Taste Test with My Mom
My mom joined me for this episode of QTP! We tasted teas, ranked them, and got to chat about her life. It was a special time to record with her and I hope you enjoy both of our random banter. Within the episode we drank the following teas: 1. “Sleepy time Herbal Tea” by Celestial Seasons, 2. "Belly Comfort" by Traditional Medicinals, and 3. "Salted Caramel Mate" by STASH.

I had a wonderful time making this episode and am still open to recommendations for what you would like to see on future episodes of QTP. For now, I hope you have a great day and thank you for listening in!

Avatar: Jasmine Dragon, Laghima, and Korrasami
Today's episode is themed around Avatar The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra! This beautiful show has made its way into our hearts, and blessed us with quality character development, iconic music, and fantastic animation. I had a blast writing the script for this episode. We will talk about the original tea drinker, Uncle Iroh, then touch upon Korra and Asami's relationSHIP, and end with poetry by air nomad Guru Laghima. I did my best to pull in traditional Japanese music and sound effects. All sounds are from Freesound.org or noncopyrighted music sites. I hope you enjoy the fourth episode of QTP, thank you for listening in!

Nonbinary stories and lavender
Today on QTP, I got to share all original pieces of the show! I made the music, tea, poetry, and share a few stories about how I slowly found the LGBTQ+ community. I wanted to be a little greedy and throw everything about me into an episode, that way ya'll can get to know me a bit more. I hope you enjoyed, and don't forget to take a break. Thank you for listening in!
