The LGBTQIA+ Community, especially in India, has always lived in the shadows. Not because they've wanted to, but because the society at large has pushed them to be in the proverbial closet.
Through this show, Mahir, a 20-year-old queer writer, explores personal experiences of many people on the spectrum, journals their stories, and in return writes exclusive verses of poetry for each one of them.
Join Mahir as he tells these fabulous stories.

Trailer - Queer's The Word
I'm Mahir. A 20-year-old queer writer from Mumbai, India.
I reached out to many LGBTQ+ folks throughout the country and asked them to trust me with their humble stories, experiences and everything queer. In return, I penned down exclusive verses of poetry for each one of them, celebrating their colourful identities and their lives to the absolute fullest!
And now, I bring their stories and the poems I wrote to honour their individuality, to you; on a show that is unapologetically queer at its very heart.
This is Queer’s the Word, a MotorMouth Original Podcast coming to you this Pride Month.
