<p>Hey and what's up, travelers! Each episode, one of our Quest Givers will present a new quest and we'll make a party of D&D-type characters to take it on. In the process of making and completing quests, we'll learn more about the fantasy world we're building together and fill it with interesting characters.</p><br><p>We're not an Actual Play podcast in the traditional sense, but we take our favorite parts--the character introductions and collaborative world-building. We've got a *very* simple mechanic for determining how the quest goes and the impact it has on the world, but we're mostly in it for the lore.</p><br><p>Sh'Valo is a D&D-esque fantasy world in the midst of a magic-industrial revolution located on one face of a d12-shaped planet. Moonster of the Week - Part 3 - Into the Woods
<p>The mystery continues to unfold and our adventurers journey...into the unknown!</p><br><p>Don't forget! We ARE doing stuff more regularly on Twitch (twitch.tv/questopedia), so come check us out and give us a follow there! We'll be doing some of the classic Questopedia format (3 characters, 1 quest, 1 die roll to determine overall success), but we're also branching out! We'll be using mechanics from all kinds of TTRPGs to keep on doing character and worldbuilding. That also means we're branching out in setting. Sh'Valo is just 1 of planet Kolonyl's 12 faces...and we've also created a planet for every standard D&D die to represent different genres and vibes. <p>On this episode, we actually play Monster of the Week as if this were some kind of Monster of the Week Actual Play Podcast. Sam "The Shoveler" Shalf, Thomas "Major Tom" Majora, and Tanna "Firry" Forsten look into the mysterious disappearances in Sendino Colony.</p><br><p>And don't forget! Moonster of the Week - Part 1 - Preferred World
<p>We're back! Kinda! Things have gotten kind of busy for us, so we're not releasing the podcast on a regular basis anymore, but we wanted to release a session of a game called "Monster of the Week" that takes place in the setting of Sh'Valo--specifically on Sh'Valo's moon.</p><br><p>This episode, we do some worldbuilding and introduce the characters we'll be playing as. Part 2, we'll actually PLAY the game! That's right.
