quiet reset is a short podcast by rochel forte about seeing Jesus in the ordinary: motherhood, marriage, conversations, decisions, and the moments that are harder to name.
not everything is loud.
not everything is obvious.
but that doesn't mean nothing is happening.
i'm not here as someone who has it all figured out. just someone paying attention to what God is showing me, even in the things i don't understand right away.
and underneath every episode is one question:
Lord, what are You showing me?
sit with me for a little while.
Jesus said, "where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
for a long time, i read that and thought about money. lately, it's been asking me something else: what have i been treasuring?
this episode is about the approval of other people, and how much space it had taken up in my heart without me noticing. not a lesson, and not an answer. just an honest look at what i've been holding.
Scripture: Matthew 6:19–21 (ESV)
the question to sit with: what has my heart actually been attached to?

before we begin.
i know i've been quiet. really quiet.
for a while, i stopped posting. i wasn't sure quiet reset was supposed to keep going, or what it was supposed to become. then a friend told me she still listens, and it made me pause.
this is the story of that quiet, and what i think God has been showing me through it.
quiet reset isn't a place where i come with all the answers. it's a place where i sit with something from Scripture, bring it into ordinary life, and ask:
Lord, what are You showing me?
sit with me for a little while.

Starting Again Without Pressure
I didn’t plan the pause, but I needed it. This episode marks the start of Season 2—a quieter return, grounded in honesty. Less about figuring things out, and more about living differently with what I already know.

Some Growth Is Rooted in Private
Some of the most important growth doesn’t show.
Not everything needs to be seen, explained, or proven to be real.
This episode is about letting go of the pressure to present your progress and trusting what is quietly being formed in you.

You Are Allowed to Outgrow the Version of You That Survived.
There are seasons where survival is necessary.
But there are also seasons where you are called into something more.
In this episode, we talk about outgrowing old versions of ourselves—the ones that carried us through difficult moments, but were never meant to define us forever.
Growth can feel like tension. Like something is shifting.
But it may be God leading you into a new way of living— with more clarity, freedom, and peace.
You are allowed to outgrow what once sustained you.

Not Every Quiet Season Means Nothing Is Happening.
Some seasons don’t come with movement, clarity, or visible progress — just stillness. And it’s easy to mistake that for being stuck. This episode is a reminder that not all growth is loud. Some of the most important shifts happen quietly, beneath the surface, before they ever show up in your life.
If things feel slow, unclear, or still right now, this is for you.

You Don’t Need to Rush What Is Still Becoming Clear.
There’s a pressure to figure things out quickly. To have clarity right away. To know what to do next without hesitation.
But not everything is meant to be understood all at once.
Some things take time to settle. To form. To become clear without being forced.
This episode is about slowing down that pressure… and learning to stay in the in-between without rushing toward an answer.
Because clarity doesn’t come faster when you push harder.
It comes when there’s enough space to see what’s already there.

You’re Not Lazy. You’re Carrying Too Much.
What feels like laziness is not always a lack of discipline. Sometimes it’s the weight of what you’re carrying internally—unprocessed thoughts, expectations, and pressure you haven’t had space to release. This episode is about recognizing that weight and what it means to move forward with less, not more.

You’re Not Behind. You’re Being Rebuilt.
Sometimes feeling behind is not failure. Sometimes it is the discomfort of being reshaped in a season you did not expect. This episode is about trusting slower growth, hidden work, and the kind of rebuilding that does not always look impressive from the outside.

You’re Not Tired. You’re Overstimulated.
Feeling constantly tired isn’t always about lack of rest. Sometimes it’s the result of too much input and not enough clarity. In this episode, we talk about overstimulation, mental clutter, and how reducing noise can restore your energy.

You’re Not Stuck. You’re Just Distracted.
Most people delay change because they think readiness comes first. In reality, action usually comes before confidence. This episode is about starting before you feel fully prepared and why movement matters more than certainty.

You Don’t Need More Time. You Need More Consistency.
Most people think they need more time to change their life. But in reality, what they need is consistency. In this episode, we break down why small, repeatable actions matter more than intensity and how building simple patterns can create real momentum.
