As the Show Experience Lead of Sofar Philadelphia, I’ve had the honor of introducing so many talented performance artists to my city on stage.
This is my opportunity to introduce them to the world.

What does it take to go from hood to butterfly?
For my 248th interview on Quince Questions, I sat down with singer songwriter junee.songs (vanillaembed://app/index.html#metaai-entity-social%3Ajunee.songs) right as her new album HOOD BUTTERFLY takes flight.
Junee' is in her transformation era. On the cover she stands in gold and brown against concrete and glass, wearing those blue, orange and yellow butterfly wings with a ghostly double exposure behind her — that tension between who you were and who you're becoming. That's the whole record.
We get into the making of HOOD BUTTERFLY, the album that includes "R U N Love With Me?", "Diamonds & Pearls", "Breathe", "Brown Skin Man" and more from the project released May 3 on Second Street Music.
In this conversation we talk about:
The meaning behind Hood Butterfly and why she chose metamorphosis as the through-line
How tracks like "R U N Love With Me?" and "Breathe" were built in the studio
Gold eyeshadow, halos, and building a visual world to match the music
Writing as inner dialogue and healing out loud
What this album unlocked for her live show
If you've ever had to shed a skin to find your wings, this one is for you.
This episode drops Friday, Oct 9.

Ep. 246 Alivia Clark
Episode #246 - Alivia Clark Breaks Down Her New Single “Breathless”
Alivia Clark is BACK.
For this one, Quincy Stallworth sits down with singer-songwriter & actress Alivia Faith Clark to break down her newest single “Breathless” — a booming, fun feminine anthem blending Dance-Pop and Electropop with EDM/House energy and an R&B/Soul vocal flair.
After a one-year hiatus, Alivia returns in a bold new era. We get into how she wrote “Breathless” entirely herself and brought it to life with producers David Mason, Harry Nelnick, and Maxim Laskavy, fusing high-octane EDM pulse with infectious pop melodies to explore vulnerability, desire, and empowerment.
In this episode we break down:
The story behind the year-long hiatus and sonic evolution
Writing “Breathless” solo and what she wanted to say
Building the track - from soulful topline to dancefloor-ready production
Confidence, femininity, and owning your seductive side
Tap in and listen to “Breathless” after the episode — link in her bio.
