Meaning, Infinite Light, and Revealing Vitality in this Lowly World - Kollel Toras Chaim All Shiurim
Episode Title:
Finding Hashem in Everything | R’ Joey Rosenfeld — Likutei Moharan Torah Alef
Episode Description:
Rebbe Nachman teaches that a Jew must always look for the hidden wisdom within everything—“להסתכל בהשכל של כל דבר.” But what does it actually mean to discover Hashem within the ordinary experiences of life?
In this shiur, R’ Joey Rosenfeld explores the profound relationship between Chochmah and Malchus, the difference between intellectual understanding and Divine awareness, and the transformative power of bitul.
Through the teachings of Chassidus and the deeper significance of Yaakov Avinu, we discover that the goal of spiritual wisdom is not to transcend the world and leave it behind, but to bring the light of Hashem into every aspect of our lives.
A powerful exploration of how Torah can illuminate our relationships, our challenges, our tefillos, and the everyday moments through which we draw closer to HaKadosh Baruch Hu.

Bringing Heaven Down to Earth - Kollel Toras Chaim All Shiurim
R’ Joey Rosenfeld Torah 1 Shiur 1
Why does Rebbe Nachman begin Likutei Moharan with Torah Alef, and what makes this teaching the foundation for understanding his entire sefer?
In this introductory shiur, we explore Rebbe Nachman’s place in the unfolding revelation of Pnimiyus HaTorah, the unique role of Reb Noson in preserving his teachings, and the deeper significance of learning Likutei Moharan as a living connection to the tzaddik.
Drawing on the teachings of Rav Avraham ben Rav Nachman and other Breslov masters, we discover why Torah Alef serves as an introduction to the entire sefer and how its central themes of Chochmah, Malchus, Torah, and tefillah reveal the purpose of our spiritual journey.
At the heart of the shiur is a powerful idea: the goal of Torah is not simply to elevate ourselves toward Heaven, but to bring the light of Heaven into our everyday lives. Through learning Torah, transforming Torah into personal tefillah, and developing a deeper connection with Hashem, we can restore the chen and chashivus—the beauty, grace, and significance—hidden within ourselves and the world around us.
An introduction to Rebbe Nachman’s vision of Torah as a path toward hope, joy, dveikus, and discovering Hashem’s presence in every part of life.

Tasting the Light of Gan Eden through the Yichud of Hashem/Elokim - Kollel Toras Chaim All Shiurim
In this shiur on Likutey Moharan Torah 4, Reb Joey unpacks Rebbe Nachman's teaching that knowing everything is for your ultimate good is itself a taste of Olam Haba.
TOPICS COVERED:
• Learning Torah from a Tzaddik — Why receiving Torah from a true Tzaddik is more than information transfer. The Shekhinah speaks through the Tzaddikim, and the reader receives the tikunim the Tzaddik had in mind when teaching.
• Segulas HaTorah vs. Ha'aras HaTorah — Rav Pomeranchik's chiddush: the illumination of Torah that requires full understanding vs. the healing segulah of Torah that works even without it (the Zidichover and Komarno's approach).
• The opening pasuk — Anochi Hashem Elokecha — How the Torah is rooted in the verse "I am Hashem your God who took you out of Mitzrayim," with its dual revelation of the names Havaya and Elokim.
• Me'ein Olam Haba — the central teaching — When a person knows that everything happening in their life is l'tovaso, that consciousness is itself a taste of Olam Haba.
• Two perspectives on Olam Haba — The chitzonius understanding (a future world preempted in the mind) vs. the pnimius understanding (Olam Haba is ever-present, lemalah mizman, accessible now).
• L'tovaso, not Gam Zu L'Tovah — Why Rebbe Nachman emphasizes "for my good" specifically — more personal and more demanding than the familiar "this too is for the good."
• The Slabodka teaching — Drawn from the Alter of Slabodka via Rav Avraham Eliya Kaplan: every person has a chelek in Olam Haba available now, and one can enter Gan Eden in this lifetime.
• The double gift of the taste — The calm of the moment plus the indelible memory of having tasted it — ammunition for the next moment of concealment.
• Two names of Hashem — Havaya and Elokim — Havaya is rachamim, the ever-present compassionate presence. Elokim is din, teva, the world appearing to run on its own. Both must be praised: ba-Hashem ahalel davar, b'Elokim ahalel davar.
• Why concealment exists — The Izhbitzer's chiddush that the natural order working is itself the biggest chillul Hashem. But the concealment is intentional — it's what makes bechira possible.

Torah 25 & 73 Tinyana Introduction
R' Joey Rosenfeld - Introduction
In this episode, the speaker explores the teachings of Rabbi Nachman centered on the transformative process of turning Torah into Tefillah through Hisboididus (self-seclusion and contemplation). The discussion highlights the refinement and clarification needed in personal and communal spiritual practices. By delving into the works of David HaMelech (King David) and his Tehillim (Psalms), the session underscores the powerful impact of expressing personal struggles and vulnerabilities as a form of prayer. The profound wisdom of David HaMelech provides a framework for believers to turn their knowledge and experiences into heartfelt supplications, ultimately fostering a deeper connection with HaKadosh Baruch Hu (the Holy One, Blessed be He).
