On April 5th, 1995, Timothy McVeigh made two phone calls fromhis motel room in Kingman, Arizona. The first was to a Rydertruck rental company to start reserving the vehicle he'd usefor his bomb. Two minutes later, he called a 400-acre whitesupremacist compound hidden at the end of a six-mile dirt roadin the Oklahoma hills. He asked for someone called Andy. The compound was called Elohim City. Andy was a German militaryofficer named Andreas Strassmeir who ran paramilitary trainingthere. The ATF already had a paid informant living inside thecompound. She had been warning her handler for months thatresidents were planning to blow up federal buildings in OklahomaCity including the Murrah Building. Her ATF handler confirmed this under oath. The ATF was planning a raid two months before the bombing. TheFBI shut it down.168 people died on April 19, 1995.This is the full story of Elohim City.CHAPTERS00:00 The Two Phone Calls — April 5 199502:00 Introduction04:00 What Is Elohim City?07:00 Christian Identity — The Theology10:30 Robert Millar — The Pappy14:00 The Underground Railroad for Extremists19:00 Andy the German — Andreas Strassmeir24:00 Carol Howe — The Woman Inside29:00 What She Warned Them About33:00 McVeigh and Elohim City — Every Documented Connection38:00 Richard Wayne Snell and April 19th40:00 The Questions the FBI Couldn't Answer41:00 What Happened to Elohim City42:00 What This Tells Us43:00 A Note on Carol Howe43:30 Outro SOURCESFamous Trials — McVeigh Phone Record (2-minute gap image):https://famous-trials.com/oklacity/718-moreconspiratorsSE Missourian — Bob Ricks "Another Waco" Quote (AP):https://www.semissourian.com/news/oklahoma-danger-known-to-feds-101416Seattle Times — Angela Finley-Graham Sealed Testimony (AP, 2003):https://archive.seattletimes.com/archive/20030213/oklahoma13/government-aware-of-threats-before-oklahoma-city-bombingBulletin of Atomic Scientists — ATF Director Magaw Quote:https://thebulletin.org/2015/04/the-pathological-legacy-of-the-oklahoma-city-bombing/Pocono Review — Strassmeir Full Investigation:https://poconoreview.com/andreas-strassmeir-okc-bombing/Wikipedia — Andreas Strassmeir:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andreas_StrassmeirWikipedia — Carol Howe:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_HoweWikipedia — Richard Wayne Snell:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Wayne_SnellMaclean's — The City of God Mystery (1997):https://archive.macleans.ca/article/1997/4/7/the-city-of-god-mysteryOntario Mennonite History — Robert G. Stormfront: Don Black’s Neo-Nazi Network
In 1995, a former KKK leader who'd served prison time for trying to invade a Caribbean island taught himself HTML and built Stormfront.org the internet's first white nationalist social network. This is that story. This episode covers: Operation Red Dog, how Don Black pioneered online community-building nearly a decade before social media existed, the radicalization pipeline Stormfront created, the killings linked to its users, and the story of his son Derek (now Adrianne Black) — who grew up at the center of the movement and eventually walked away from all of it.[TIMESTAMPS]0:00 — Cold Open: The Bayou of Pigs2:40 — Who Was Don Black?7:40 — The Failed Invasion of Dominica13:00 — Prison and the Idea That Changed Everything16:55 — Building the Internet's First Hate Site21:10 — How the Forum Actually Worked27:00 — The Violence That Came Off the Screen32:00 — David Duke, Chloe, and a Kid Named Derek36:30 — Stormfront at Its Peak41:50 — Derek Black — The Heir Apparent49:10 — Charlottesville and the Fall54:35 — What Stormfront Actually Built59:00 — OutroSOURCES OPERATION RED DOGWikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Red_DogAllThatsInteresting: https://allthatsinteresting.com/operation-red-dogGlobalSecurity.org: https://www.globalsecurity.org/intell/ops/bayou-of-pigs.htmFace2Face Africa: https://face2faceafrica.com/article/how-the-kkk-tried-to-take-over-dominica-in-1981-with-the-islands-first-black-pmDON BLACKWikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Black_(white_supremacist)Bhamwiki (DOB confirmed): https://www.bhamwiki.com/w/Don_BlackDAVID DUKEWikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_DukeBallotpedia: https://ballotpedia.org/David_Duke64parishes (1989 state race): https://64parishes.org/the-duke-dilemmaWikipedia (1991 governor's race): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1991_Louisiana_gubernatorial_electionBaltimore Sun (55% of white vote, 1991): https://www.baltimoresun.com/1991/11/18/the-numbers-from-louisiana-add-up-chillingly-dukes-claim-on-white-vote-shows-depth-of-discontent/STORMFRONTWashington Times: https://m.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/sep/1/stormfront-members-bypass-domain-seizure-access-ba/STORMFRONT — KILLINGS LINKED TO USERSNBC News (2014): https://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/jewish-center-shootings/report-users-white-power-website-have-committed-nearly-100-murders-n83231Broward Palm Beach New Times (2014): https://www.browardpalmbeach.com/news/100-murders-linked-to-stormfront-racist-website-based-in-west-palm-beach-6471461ADRIANNE BLACK (formerly Derek Black)Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adrianne_BlackNBC News: https://www.nbcnews.com/nbc-out/out-news/derek-black-kkk-klansman-son-transgender-rcna153904NPR Fresh Air: https://www.npr.org/2018/09/24/651052970/how-a-rising-star-of-white-nationalism-broke-free-from-the-movementNew York Review of Books: https://www.nybooks.com/articles/2019/09/26/white-nationalist-family-values/On Being (Derek & Matthew Stevenson): https://onbeing.org/programs/derek-black-and-matthew-stevenson-befriending-radical-disagreement/Reform Judaism (Shabbat dinners): https://reformjudaism.org/blog/how-shabbat-dinners-transformed-white-nationalistSarasota Magazine: https://www.sarasotamagazine.com/news-and-profiles/2019/01/derek-black-white-nationalist-new-collegeRISING OUT OF HATRED — Eli Saslow (2018)Penguin Random House: https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/557516/rising-out-of-hatred-by-eli-saslow/Washington Post review: https://www.washingtonpost.com/outlook/a-white-supremacists-path-to-enlightenment-about-race-and-tolerance/2018/09/27/aafcc4e4-a17d-11e8-8e87-c869fe70a721_story.htmlCHARLOTTESVILLE + DEPLATFORMINGDOJ (Fields charges): https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/ohio-man-charged-federal-hate-crimes-related-august-2017-rally-charlottesvilleDOJ (Fields sentenced to life): https://www.justice.gov/archives/opa/pr/ohio-man-sentenced-life-prison-federal-hate-crimes-related-august-2017-car-attack-rally

The Metal God Who Killed For Satan Then Chose to Die
On the floor of his apartment in Hässelby, Sweden, Jon Nödtveidt sat inside a circle of lit candles and shot himself in the head. He was 31. His cult called it the highest thing he'd ever done.Nödtveidt was one of the most gifted extreme metal guitarists alive and a convicted murderer. Nine years earlier, he and a fellow member of a Swedish Satanic order called the Misanthropic Luciferian Order had killed a 36-year-old gay Algerian man named Josef ben Meddour at Keillers Park in Gothenburg. Both confessed. Both got ten years. And when Jon got out, he didn't walk away from any of it. He made a final album as a statement of faith, released it, and two months later was found surrounded by candles.Today we go inside the MLO — the theology, the murders, the music, and the pipeline that is still running right now.TIMESTAMPS0:00 The Candles Were Still Lit1:55 The Boy from Katrineholm5:55 The Norwegian Fire10:10 What They Actually Believe15:50 Keillers Park — July 199721:50 The System That Made It Possible26:50 Prison and Silence30:50 Reinkaos — The Final Statement34:00 August 13, 200636:00 Temple of the Black Light37:20 The Music Was the Door38:35 Why This Isn't OverSOURCESDissection — full band history, discography, conviction, suicide:https://metalmusicarchives.com/dissection.aspxDissection confirms frontman's death — Lambgoat, August 2006:https://lambgoat.com/news/7278/dissection-confirms-frontmans-death/Jon Nödtveidt and the Misanthropic Luciferian Order — Massimo Introvigne, Bitter Winter (2025):https://bitterwinter.org/religion-esotericism-and-suicide-5-jon-nodtveidt-and-the-misanthropic-luciferian-order/Varg Vikernes 21-year sentence / Euronymous murder — Blabbermouth:https://blabbermouth.net/news/convicted-murderer-varg-vikernes-once-again-denied-paroleNorwegian black metal church burnings — Evangelical Focus:https://evangelicalfocus.com/europe/12182/significantly-fewer-churches-are-burning-in-norwayLords of Chaos — Moynihan & Søderlind (Feral House, 2003):https://www.amazon.com/dp/0922915946RELATED EPISODES Inside O9A: The Cult That Weaponized Satanism to Create Real-World Terroristshttps://youtu.be/m06-_8yAobQ How Neo Nazis Built a Secret Music Industry to Recruit Young Menhttps://youtu.be/0l2qnVA4KRo Martinet Press: The Extremist Book Pipelinehttps://youtu.be/XyyK21R4WHoRabbit Hole covers the systems behind extremism — the networks, infrastructure, ideologies, and pipelines that pull people in.
