God Hook: The Ohio Craigslist Killings is available now!
Listen to a clip from episode one of the podcast - the full episode is available now! In this new installment of her true crime series, journalist Carol Costello delves into the complex case of the Ohio Craigslist Killings, and in doing so, unearths the untold story of the crimes that preceded the murders – and the victims who’ve never received justice. Richard Beasley was convicted of murdering three men and attempting to kill a fourth in the fall of 2011, but before that heinous spree, authorities were building a human trafficking case against him. Now, Carol examines all of the previously unknown details of Beasley’s alleged crimes, and how he used the God Hook to lure his victims and bend them to his will.

Listen to Unsolved Histories Now! What Happened to Flight 293?
The Unsolved Histories podcast team was pleased to get a phone call letting us know a U.S. senator not only listened to Season 1 but wanted to address a problem raised by our recounting of the tragic story of Flight 293. Military men and women who go missing, but not in action, are not remembered or memorialized and the families left without the support that is given to other MIA families. If passed, the Flight 293 Remembrance Act will change that. Host Feliks Banel researched this and other accidents involving service members who seemed to be forgotten by the government they served. Here’s a clip from episode one of Unsolved Histories: What Happened to Flight 293?

Suicide by Text: The Death of Conrad Roy - with Kyle MacLachalan & Josh Davis
Published 18 Apr 2024 · Transcript excerpt
[…] But then in July of 2014, Michelle, who was once so encouraging of him having a future ahead of him, suddenly turned. Instead of discouraging him from his dark thoughts of ending his life, she began encouraging him to just do it already. In early July over the course of six days, Conrad and Michelle texted each other about Conrad's suicidal thoughts and they plotted different ways to commit the act. These texts, which were released in the public in 2017, showed Conrad's hesitance repeatedly. He brought up the impact that his suicide would have on his parents and how it would hurt his family and in response, Michelle wrote, I think your parents know you're in a really bad place. […]
