Diarmuid Nolan, Dean Ryan, and Pat Cooney are together to break down one of the greatest jumping festivals on the British calendar, the Aintree Grand National Festival. Three superb days of racing in Liverpool, and the lads are ready to go through it all — race by race, grade 1 by grade 1, right the way through to the big one.
The panel give their 1-2-3 for the Grand National itself, and cast their eye over all the other Grade 1s and marquee races across the three days. Diarmuid and Pat are singing from the same hymn sheet this week, as they land on a big-priced handicap runner on Saturday — outside of the National — that they fancy to cause a stir. Tune in to find out who they're backing.
Classic race. Legendary festival. Don't miss it.

2026 Cheltenham Festival Highs, Lows & Lessons | Final Show Of The Season
In partnership with bet365 and Gambling.com, this week’s #Racehour Podcast is out now!
It’s the final show of the year and Diarmuid Nolan is joined by Stephen Cass and Tony Keenan for a full Cheltenham Review after four unforgettable days at Prestbury Park.
The lads break down all the key moments from the festival — the big winners, the shocks, the performances that matter going forward, and where the punting angles may have been won and lost. They also get stuck into some listener questions to round things off.
As always, a big thank you to our sponsors bet365 and Gambling.com — and a special thanks to all of our listeners for the support throughout the year.
