This is a podcast dedicated to diving into the intersection of education, faith, and racial injustice.
With careers in both ministry and academia, along with his unique racial and ethnic identity, David Phipps uses this space to both share and facilitate language that builds up communities of color. You can expect to hear solo episodes from David as well as guest interviews and co-hosts regularly dropping in to discuss the important issues.
David drops in to share some Fourth of July thoughts. Most notably, he discusses the recent Texas school board duel-ruling on requiring the Bible to be read and taught in the classroom, in addition to removing many portions of African American history from being taught.
Last, he discusses the SCOTUS's recent ruling to end Temporary Protective Services (TPS), and gives a short history lesson on why many Americans could be thankful for Haiti's role in American history.
