Happiness is a choice. In this episode, you'll be hearing about my personal experiences with sadness and how I've shifted my mindset to choose happiness instead. We talk about getting out of the victim mentality and rewiring negative thought patterns with positive alternatives. If you've been chasing happiness, this episode is for you. We touch on the importance of seeking out happiness, reaching out to people, and creating positive narratives. I also encourage being delusional towards the positive and not worrying about what others think. This episode is your reminder to be your own hero (be your own knight-in-shining-armor) and CHOOSE YOUR HARD, both of which will ultimately lead to a more fulfilling and aligned life.

Sound Bites
"Just like the rewiring of your thought patterns into more positive ones, you can also do that with your life. You can rewire these negative experiences into more positive ones."
"This totally reminds me of the Inside Out movie. Memories are not supposed to be just happy or just sad. A lot of times, there's interchangable expertiences, and you can take something and interject a little bit of happiness into it, or sorrow, or humor, or whatever the emotion is. You don't have to make all of your memories sad because you can go out there and choose a different narrative for yourself."
"Choosing your own happiness is real. Taking your care of yourself is hard."

Don't Let History Repeat Itself
Before moving on to new chapters in your life, you often have to learn lessons from previous ones. Similar situations and people may keep appearing in your life until the lesson they can teach you is learned. I encourage you, as you listen, to reflect on some of your past relationships and identify the lessons or morals of the story. By doing so, you can break the cycles and create healthier connections, as a result. So in other words, you can finally MOVE ON. We also cover self-love, touching on rest being productive and giving yourself permission to do nothing. Rest is an act of self-love and is necessary to prevent burnout, as well. Get your cup of coffee or tea, get cozy, and listen up for today's episode to break those toxic cycles once and for all.
