Wenn Kinder und Senioren zusammenkommen, entstehen oft ganz besondere Momente. Im Caritas-Seniorenheim St. Josef in Ingolstadt-Gerolfing wird das jeden Monat sichtbar: Kinder des benachbarten katholischen Kindergartens St. Rupert besuchen die Bewohnerinnen und Bewohner, singen, spielen und lachen gemeinsam mit ihnen. Stellt euch vor: Der Lohn oder die Rente ist überwiesen, das Geld ist auf dem Konto – aber ihr könnt nicht darüber verfügen. Die Miete ist fällig, der Einkauf steht an, doch die Karte bleibt nutzlos. Für Menschen mit einer Kontopfändung kann das schnell zur existenziellen Belastung werden. Eigentlich soll ein Pfändungsschutzkonto, kurz P-Konto, genau davor schützen. Auf dieses Problem macht die Caritas jetzt aufmerksam, anlässlich der bundesweiten Aktionswoche Schuldnerberatung. Peter Esser hat darüber mit OIivia Dorsch gesprochen. Die Beraterin ist die Sprecherin für dem Bereich Schuldnerberatung beim Caritasverband für die Diözese Eichstätt.
