Почему не было великих писательниц?
Наш читательский опыт, сформированный семьёй, школой и университетом, всячески подсказывает, что в мире литературы значение имеет только качество текстов, а пол автора — незначительная категория. Однако биографии писательниц со всего мира, а также феминистские и гендерные исследования наглядно показывают, что литература — предвзятая область, а объективная оценка того или иного произведения или вклада того или иного автора — это иллюзия. Причины редкого присутствия женщин в каноне, среди победительниц престижных премий и в книжных рецензиях самых разных изданий почти всегда находятся вне литературы и писательского таланта. Ответ на вопрос «Почему не было великих писательниц?» нужно искать в патриархатной истории нашего общества. В лекции, названной по аналогии с эссе Линды Нохлин «Почему не было великих художниц?», книжная обозревательница Маша Бурова расскажет, как гендерные стереотипы сотни лет мешали авторкам официально стать великими.
