Samen reisden ze met hun grootouders terug naar Suriname, op zoek naar plekken waar hun familiegeschiedenis is gevormd — van Colakreek tot de oude suikerfabriek Mariënburg. In fotografie, poëzie en performance onderzoeken ze wat het betekent om meerdere thuislanden te hebben, en hoe herinneringen mee veranderen met de mensen die ze dragen.
