„For Ezra had devoted himself to the study and observance of the Law of the Lord, and to teaching its decrees and laws in Israel.” EZRA 7:10 (NIV) They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, “The Lord is upright; he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him.” PSALMS 92,14-15 (NIV) The name Ezra, originally in Hebrew "Ezra," means "help" or "one who helps." From the life of Ezra, we can draw much inspiration, such as how to bring goodness and positive values into our lives and positively influence others. Above all, his example shows us the importance of dedicating ourselves to learning and upholding the values we deem right. Ezra was devoted to the Law of Moses, highlighting the significance of consistency and fidelity to our principles. We can strive to delve into and practice the values we consider essential in our lives just like Ezra did. And if we can surprise someone along the way, even better! Ezra led his people by introducing religious and moral reforms. This teaches us that it's worth striving to make changes in our environment, no matter how difficult they may seem. Through our actions, we can inspire others to lead better lives, to strive for justice, honesty, and humility. And perhaps, in the process, shake things up a bit? Who said change has to be boring? His actions in Jerusalem demonstrate the importance of engagement in community life. The collective effort towards the goal of rebuilding the temple and renewing worship teaches us that cooperation and mutual support are crucial. In our communities, we can look for ways to collaborate and support initiatives that bring goodness and build unity. Maybe it's worth starting with small, surprising gestures? An unconventional approach can work wonders! Ezra's renewal of the covenant with God shows us the importance of striving for reconciliation and spiritual renewal. In our lives, we can aim for forgiveness, mending relationships, and building bridges where there are divisions. Ezra's example also teaches us that even in tough times, it's worth staying true to our beliefs and values, trusting that our perseverance will bear fruit. And perhaps, in the process, surprise ourselves and others with our determination? Ezra's actions had a lasting impact on the religious and social life of Israel. This reminds us that our deeds can have far-reaching consequences. Even the smallest acts of kindness, honesty, and support can influence others in ways we cannot foresee. Therefore, it's worth striving daily to live in accordance with the values we consider important and to inspire others to do the same. By adding a bit of cheer and contrariness to our efforts, we can make the world a better place in our own unique way. Z życia Ezdrasza możemy czerpać wiele inspiracji, na przykład, jak wnosić dobro i pozytywne wartości do naszego życia oraz wpływać pozytywnie na innych. Przede wszystkim, jego przykład pokazuje, jak ważne jest poświęcenie się nauce i przestrzeganiu wartości, które uznajemy za słuszne. Ezdrasz był oddany Prawu Mojżeszowemu, co wskazuje na znaczenie konsekwencji i wierności swoim zasadom. Możemy zatem dążyć do zgłębiania i praktykowania wartości, które uważamy za istotne w naszym życiu właśnie tak, jak Ezdrasz. A jeśli przy okazji możemy kogoś zaskoczyć, to tym lepiej! Ezdrasz przewodził swojemu ludowi, wprowadzając reformy religijne i moralne. To uczy nas, że warto dążyć do wprowadzania zmian w naszym otoczeniu, niezależnie od tego, jak trudne mogą się wydawać. Poprzez nasze działania możemy inspirować innych do lepszego życia, do dążenia do sprawiedliwości, uczciwości i pokory. A może przy okazji trochę ich rozruszać? Kto powiedział, że zmiany muszą być nudne? Jego działania w Jerozolimie pokazują, jak istotne jest zaangażowanie w życie społeczności. Wspólne dążenie do celu, jakim była odbudowa świątyni i odnowienie kultu, uczy nas, że współpraca i wspieranie się nawzajem są kluczowe. W naszych społecznościach możemy szukać sposobów na współdziałanie, wspieranie inicjatyw, które przynoszą dobro i budują jedność. Może warto zacząć od małych, zaskakujących gestów? Niekonwencjonalne podejście potrafi zdziałać cuda! Odnowienie przymierza z Bogiem przez Ezdrasza pokazuje, jak ważne jest dążenie do pojednania i odnowy duchowej. W naszym życiu możemy dążyć do wybaczania, naprawiania relacji i budowania mostów tam, gdzie są podziały. Przykład Ezdrasza uczy nas również, że nawet w trudnych czasach, warto zachować wierność swoim przekonaniom i wartościom, wierząc, że nasza wytrwałość przyniesie owoce. A może przy okazji zaskoczyć siebie i innych swoją determinacją? Ezdrasz poprzez swoje działania miał długotrwały wpływ na życie religijne i społeczne Izraela. To przypomina nam, że nasze czyny mogą mieć dalekosiężne skutki. Nawet najmniejsze gesty dobroci, uczciwości i wsparcia mogą wpłynąć na innych w sposób, którego nie jesteśmy w stanie przewidzieć. Warto więc codziennie starać się żyć zgodnie z wartościami, które uważamy za ważne, i inspirować innych do tego samego. Dodając odrobinę pogody i przekory do naszych starań, możemy uczynić świat lepszym miejscem na swój własny, unikalny sposób. Z dedykacją dla Andrzeja i Pierwszego Zboru Chrześcijan Baptystów z Warszawy, z podziękowaniem za zaproszenie i cudowne, pełne Bożej mocy, niedzielne nabożeństwo! Niech Wam Bóg błogosławi!

The Bible encourages mutual support and community building both in the church and in our homes. These passages highlight the importance of companionship and collective encouragement. They suggest that humans thrive in environments where they can interact, support, and inspire one another, fostering a sense of belonging and purpose. However, it's also important to consider different perspectives on this topic. Some may argue that individual growth and self-reliance are equally crucial, and that solitude can be a powerful space for personal reflection and development. While community support is beneficial, finding a balance between communal and individual time can lead to a more holistic and fulfilling life. Thus, while the biblical passages advocate for community and mutual support, they can be harmoniously integrated with the understanding that occasional solitude and self-reflection also play vital roles in personal well-being.
